(Lani's POV)
I dont know why Y/N's father kicked them out. Why the sudden change? Why was everything and everyone changing so much lately. Y/N is only 12...im 15...i must protect them. I will make sure that Y/N's father never hurts them again!
(No ones pov)
It had been 3 days since Y/N and their father had, argued. Y/N left to go on a mission the day after that then came back with a small scar on their face, but it would easily heal back up.
Y/N was happy to finally be able to stay at their own estate. The shadow estate. Lani was a tiny bit worried about the argument. Y/N and Lani had started walking to the location they had just been told that the shadow estate was at.
"So Lani, you want to stay with me huh?" Y/N asked the very tall girl
"Well, yeah. Your like a sister to me! I cant just leave you on your own"
"I could have taken care of myself...."
"I know, but i worry about you so you know"
"Yeah. Tonight is the first night we stay at the shadow estate...i hope there is lots of shade to communicate with the shadows.."
"You can talk to the shadows?"
"Mhm. Some of the shadows are very...evil...those shadows usually belong to demons."
"I see"
"It's something my mother could do"
"You are a lot like your mother aren't you?"
"I guess i am..."
As the 2 talked they grew closer to shadow estate, they did not realize their was a crow following them. This crow was Obanai's crow
Now, obanai wanted to know more about the shadow Hashira, he figured they would get along because they are both considered odd.
How was obanai considered odd? Most people dont like Snakes, he likes snakes. Most people dont use bandages to cover half of their face, he did. And normal considered him odd.
Y/N was also considered odd, i mean they we able to learn Shadow breathing, only special and odd people could master this breathing. Although Y/N's mother was the one who originally had this breathing (between y/n's parents and themself), y/n's father was also able to learn 2 of the shadow breathing technique before giving up.
(Shinobu's POV)
The shadow Hashira was moving into the shadow estate, I remember the last Shadow Hashira. M/N. A amazing woman if I remember correctly, she got along well with my sister...to bad they were both slayed by demons...
"So y/n is moving into the shadow estate" i say to giyuu.
I look at giyuu who was looking towards a tree. He must had been annoyed.
"Yeah.." he finally said
"Are you annoyed because i said that no one likes you?"
"..."
Suddenly Mitsuri walked up to me
"Shinobu!" She called out
"Yes mitsuri?"
"Are you busy?"
"No, i was just annoying Giyuu"
"Ok great! Come with me!"
(Y/N's POV)
We soon made it to the shadow estate. It had many trees around it. Lots of places for the shadows to stay. The shade from the tree's made the place look really dark. I liked it!
