Chapter 7 (the demon Twins)

I walked into the village. Muichiro was waiting for me by the village gate. He was looking up at the sky, like usual.

Of course, it was still day out, but the sun was setting now. Im sure everyone would be leaving my estate by now, but i have no idea.

"Muichiro?"

"Huh? Oh hey...mmm...whats your name again?"

"Its Y/N."

"Y/N, right."

"Yeah, any information on the demon?"

"..."

"Ill take that as a no?"

"I forgot..." he whispers

"Thats ok, we have plenty of time to ask around" i say

"Ok.." he says looking at me.

(Muichiro's POV)

Of course I forgot Y/N's name. I feel bad for forgetting their name. But either way we have to kill the demon now.

I looked at Y/N. They looked really pretty. Their eyes shined in the light. I could get lost in their eyes forever (i could get lost in Muichiro's Minty eyes forever so i know that feeling)

I glance around a bit looking at some of the people. They glanced at me and Y/N and gave us weird looks, probably because we stood out. Me with long hair that was black into a mint color, Y/N with their torn haori. Not to mention we also both had Katana's.

I looked up at the sky, while Y/N asked around about the demon. Getting next to nothing information wise. Why did i not ask around? I forgot.

I forgot almost everything. Hell i don't remember my parents, or siblings if i had any. But not that it matters anymore.

"Damn it! I wish we had information on the demon" y/n says kicking a rock.

We were now standing next to a random building. The sun going down now. The sky getting noticeably dark each second.

"...what if their are more than one demon?"

"What do you mean Muichiro?"

"What if their were 2 demons instead of one, like if one demon appeared out of another demon?"

"Dont be ridiculous"

"Well, i mean it is possible"

"Highly doubt it"

"..."

Our conversation stopped. I look up at the sky.

"Whats the name of that bird again?" I ask point at a bird flying over

"Thats a crow" Y/N replies

"Oh."

"Well, we should look around for the demon. Ill go into that part of the forest, you go in the other part of the forest" Y/N says

"Alright." Was all i said before walking into the forest.

Y/N watched me walk away. They went into the forest as well.

(Y/N's POV)

I sighed to myself, hopefully Muichiro wouldn't forget what we are doing.

I climb up into a tree to get a better sight of the area in the forest. Thankfully, i was born with a small gift of my sight being 10% better than the average human. I look around. About 200 feet under a tree i could see something move. And it wasn't Muichiro.

I jump from tree to tree towards the movement.

Once i was close enough, i see a figure of a....girl. The girl was obviously a demon, but her physical age was probably 14? Or 15? Around that age.
