Orcus Labyrinth

Hajime POV

I don't know how it happened. One moment my class and I were fighting the behemoth. Then the next thing I knew I was falling off the bridge. I replay the event trying to figure out what happened. 

I was helping Kaori, she was about to be hurt by the behemoth. After that I was running away. The others were firing blasts at the behemoth. But one of the blasts hit me. That's what happened. But why? Why would someone do that? I open my eyes to find that I'm still alive.

Hajime: "Am I still in the Great Orcus Labyrinth? I fell a long way. I couldn't have gone so deep that I'm in an exposed area, right? Either way, I need to start going up. There's gotta be some stairs somewhere."

I look around seeing only rock and a type of skeleton in the roof.

Hajime: "This level's huge. Not like any of the chambers before."

I continue looking spotting a rabbit.

Hajime: "A rabbit? All the way down here? I thought monsters were supposed to be tougher the further down you went."

Growling then fills the air. Looking I see some kind of wolf attempt to get the rabbit. It disappears leaving behind lightning. It then jumps in mid air easily cutting the wolf in half. My eyes widen.

Hajime: "Nevermind. That bunny's a nightmare beast."

I back away only to trip and fall. The rabbit turns its head looking at me. Like lightning it appears in front of me. It swings its foot sending out a slash of light. I scream when the attack lands. But I soon find myself unscathed. It looks up as I do the same.

Doing so I'm greeted with a bear. The rabbit darts away trying to escape. The bear swings its paw sending three curved blades of light. The attacks land slicing off the rabbit's head. I only watch in horror as the bear leaps feasting on the rabbit.

Hajime: "That bear's huge. My hunter turned out to be prey. And I'm next."

I high tail it away. But looking over my shoulder I see those three light attacks coming my way. Before I can even react one of the attacks hit me. My eyes widen as half of my left arm falls onto the ground. 

I grab my nub screaming in pain. I then hear munching. Turning I see the bear feasting on my severed arm. The bear then begins making its way to me. I crawl backwards hitting a wall. Not wanting to die I use transmute to burrow into the wall. 

Hajime: "Transmute! Transmute, transmute, transmute, transmute, transmute!"

I spam my ability going further into the rock. As I go further back I make walls to separate me and the bear. But it simply just cuts through them. I become sleepy ceasing my spamming.

Hajime: "I don't wanna die. But I'm losing too much blood. Everything's going black."

I close my eyes as the world grows quieter.

??? POV

I peacefully sleep when I'm blasted awake by screaming.

???: "Sounds like some unfortunate soul is being killed. That's what happens when you go deep unprepared. Dumb bastard."

I reclose my eyes getting comfy. I then flip to my side going back to sleep. That scream then echoes again followed by loud munching. I open my eyes looking at a skull.

???: "Suppose I should go save them. They might actually need it."

I get off my rock making my entire back crack and pop. Twisting to the side a loud sickening pop echoes throughout the cave. Now limber I head to save whoever it was screaming like a school girl.
