Sun of my soil

You nestled as the sun of my drenched soil.

with you, I grew red and breathe yellow.

them seeds have clothed the dirt

and the roots that tighten me within

with you and these handprints —

embedded with fleeing.

I'm a yegg of your nutrients,

dearly sun, my summer, my yellow

for you are my source,

I shall but show you the bare Eden.
