The wedding music played. My father and I stood outside of the chapel, waiting for the chapel doors to open at the right time so I could walk to my future husband.

My father locked his arm with mine, and as the doors opened, I looked ahead to see Graythaniel, standing handsomely at the altar in his white suit. I smelt happiness in the air and was struck with joy and peace.

He looked like he was glowing. He looked like an angel.

When he made eye contact with me, his smile brightened, but not for long. He looked like he wanted to cry. I think seeing me, he was overwhelmed, as was I. I was just so happy.

As my father walked me down the long aisle, hand in hand, I looked at all the familiar faces there who attended my wedding. There were also some faces I didn't know that were from Graythaniel's side, or people that my parents invited.

The wedding was a mix of werewolves, vampires, witches, humans and more.

From the back row, bus driver Phil and lunch lady Horrithy sat together. We were all surprised to find out they were dating!

Bethica and Claire sat next to each other on one side. Bethica didn't look very happy, she was scowling and looked a mess, and Claire was too busy sniffing some flower petals to look at me. I paid her another $5 at the gas station to attend the wedding.

Our high school teachers sat together in one row, Mrs. Farquad, Ms. German, Mr. Ferrero and Mr. Voss, all of them were great influences in mine and Graythan's relationship.

If it wasn't for Mrs. Farquad, I never would have met Graythan or grown so close to him.

In the second row to the front, my siblings Virginadette, Hercules, Nathanon and Gismerelda sat. They all looked quite happy. I was the first one of us to get married. They had also all pitched in to pay for my wedding.

My mom sat alone at the very front row on my side, and in front of her was my maid of honor Jemantha. Jemantha and my mom both wore rose pink dresses.

Jonald stood on the other side of the altar behind Graythan. He was the best man, and wore a soft blue suit that matched my father.

Laden surprisingly was a pastor and wedding celebrant. He stood in the very middle in a soft yellow suit.

The long aisle was beautiful. It was covered in rose petals, there were flowers on the end of the pews, framing the way to my love under the beautiful floral arch.

When my father and I reached the altar, to where Graythaniel stood, wiping the tears in his eyes away, and Laiden standing in the middle holding a bible, my father unwrapped his arm from mine, planted a big kiss on my forehead, and walked off to sit beside my mother and my siblings.

I took another few steps forward to Graythan, who had his right hand reached out to me. I handed my bouquet of flowers to Jemantha, my lovely maid of honor.

When I took his hand, our fingers interlocked perfectly. It was almost as if the gaps in our fingers were made for each other, like our fingers and hands were two puzzle pieces made for each other so that we could hold hands forever.

Jemantha handed Laiden a microphone, and he began the wedding service.

"You look beautiful." Graythan whispered, squeezing my hand.

"Thank you. You look handsome." I responded.

We were facing forward to Laiden, who was still saying his welcomes and introduction.

"If your father was here..." Graythan began "I think he would tell you how beautiful you are, how smart you are, how amazing you are, and how proud of you he is."

I started tearing up, and turned my head slightly to have my parents in view. They too seemed teary and were smiling at me.

Graythan and I exchanged our vows, and promised to love and cherish each other forever, in sickness and in health. Graythan slipped my wedding ring onto my ring finger, and I put his wedding ring on his ring finger.

"You may now kiss the bride." Laiden announces, stepping to the side.

I bite my lip softly, looking up to Graythan's smiling face. This was going to be the first time we've ever kissed.

Graythan slips his right hand around the crook of my neck to hold the side of my head and cheek, and slides his left hand on my hip, pulling me in for our first kiss as husband and wife, our first kiss ever.

The thunder of love boomed when our lips met. The wedding guests erupted in cheers, clapping and whistling.

I've never been this happy. Graythan is my rock. I'm so excited to see what is next in our journey, especially note as Mr and Mrs Garbeige.

I guess you really can find love in a hopeless place.
