The next day was Thursday, and again, the rain rained.

Though the weather brought my mood down and made we want to stay at home- I knew I couldn't miss any more school.

Thankfully, the brief thought of Jonald and his piercing brown eyes gave me something to look forward to today.

"Have a good day at school honey!" My mom called at me from her office as I was putting my shoes on at the front door.

I ran out of the house, straight into the arms of-

"Jonald!" I exclaim as I walk into a hard wall. "What are you doing here?"

I close my front door and compose myself.

"About yesterday... I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to snap at you. I've just moved in across the street." He replies, gesturing to the newly bought house on the other side of mine. "I was hoping you wanted to walk to school together."

Luckily I had brought my umbrella and the rain wasn't that strong.

I happily accepted, and side by side, Jonald and I walked the long trek to school together, talking about anything and everything.

Once again, Jonald and I had Science class with Mrs. Farquad for first period.

"Class. We have a new student. His name is Graythan. He has just moved here from the school down the road. Please make him feel welcome." Mrs. Farquad announced. "Graythan, do you want to introduce yourself?"

I looked up and immediately my jaw dropped.

Graythan was the most handsome guy I had ever seen in my life.

He had short, black spikey hair, a long sharp jawline with the most perfect teeth for a smile, and a long pointed nose. He looked like a model or celebrity and was very tall and fit.

Immediately his sharp gaze and light brown eyes shot to mine.

"I'm Graythan. Nice to be here." He said while staring at me.

His voice was deep, and very warm and smooth. It was exactly how you would imagine him to sound like.

"Graythan, you can take that empty seat next to Marybethbethbeth." Mrs. Farquad says with her soft voice, adjusting her large round glasses.

I wave my hand at Graythan so he knew where I was.

He strutted towards me. His outfit was entirely black and when he walked past me he smelt like maple leaf and pine wood, my favorite homely scent.

I tried to remain calm while this extremely handsome man sat beside me. Because of the weather, I was once again stressed in baggy, warm clothes, yet he wore tight skinny jeans, a plain shirt, and a leather jacket all in black.

I couldn't help but feel self-conscious in his presence, as if I had to be so much better than I was. I felt like I needed to impress him- but why should I? He's a complete stranger.

Once class ends, Jonald comes to my seat as I pack up, but Mrs. Farquad comes to us.

"Marybethbethbeth, thank you for showing Jonald around yesterday. Are you able to also show Graythan around today? You have perfect attendance and can afford to miss some classes." She asks with a bright smile.

I look over at Jonald then look at Graythan, who's smiling at me.

"You can introduce him to your friends too!" Mrs. Farqad continues.

I can't believe this is happening. What are the chances?

"I can show him around if you want Mrs. Farquad." Jonald says.
