It was a really stormy day on the island of Sodor. Dark clouds covered miles and miles of the island and it rained like bullets.
While people like Edward, Thomas, and Y/N enjoyed rainy days, there was a man who was afraid of a few drops of rain.
As soon as the rain began, he began to panic and look for a place to take cover. He went into a tunnel and squeaked through its funnel, and wouldn't come out again.
The man's name was Henry, his engine just got a fresh coat of paint and didn't wanna ruin it. The guard, the conductor, the fireman, and even the passengers argued with him.
"It's just rain." One said.
"I'm sure you can get more paint." Another person said.
"Just keep going please!" One person said.
"The rain is not gonna hurt your train. If it was gonna ruin your paint, I'm pretty sure it would have done something by now." Someone else said.
No matter how much people argued and pleaded with Henry, he would not move.
"The rain will spoil my lovely green paint and red stripes." Henry just at said to them.
The conductor blew his whistle till he had no more breath, and waved his flag till his arms ached, but Henry still stayed in the tunnel and blew steam at him.
"Henry, come on. Please be reasonable. These people have jobs to get to. Places to be. And they have things to do." The fireman said.
"To bad. I'm not ruining my lovely green paint and red stripes because you people have bad planning." Henry said.
"What are we gonna do now?" The conductor asked.
Just then, a whistle was heard. Everyone (except Henry) looked down the dark tunnel and heard a train not far away.
"Oh no! The drivers gonna crash!" A woman yelled in horror.
"Someone do something!" Another woman yelled. The conductor pulled out his whistle and flag and ran down the tunnel to warn the upcoming train.
Not far from the tunnel, Y/N was driving a passenger train, down the sane line Henry was on. "Whoa tie a yellow ribbon 'round the ole oak tree. It's been three long years. Do ya still want me? If I don't see a ribbon 'round the ole oak tree
I'll stay on the bus, forget about us. Put the blame on me. If I don't see a yellow ribbon 'round the ole oak tree." Y/N sang as he was driving his train. As he approached the tunnel, he heard a whistling noise. He stopped singing and noticed someone emerge from the tunnel, blowing a whistle and waving a red flag.
Y/N quickly applied the breaks. As his train slowed down, it bumped into something. "What the heck? What's going on?" Y/N asked in confusion.
"Sorry sir. Henry's not moving." The conductor asked. The people in Y/N couches could be heard. They were asking why they had stopped. But one voice stood out among the rest.
"What's going on here? Why have we stopped? And what was that bump?" It was Sir Topham Hatt. The man of charge of all the engines and workers on the Island of Sodor.
Sir Topham Hatt was on his way to a meeting in Vicarstown for a meeting, and he didn't want to be late.
"All I was told that Henry has stopped." Y/N said.
The conductor then explained what had happened. "Oh so he won't move? Well, we shall see about that!" Sir Topham Hatt said as he exited the coach, and made his way to Henry, with Y/N following behind.
"What's the meaning off all this Henry? What's all this nonsense about you not going?" Sir Topham Hatt asked as he walked to Henry's cab and gave him a stern look.
