Thomas is an engine driver who lives at the big station on the Island of Sodor. He's a cheeky little man with blue eyes, and blue hair.
His engine has six small wheels, a short stumpy funnel, a short stumpy boiler and a short stumpy dome.
He's a fussy little man too. Always pulling coaches about ready for the big engines can take on long journeys. And when trains come in, he pulls the empty coaches away so that the others can go on a break.
"Thank you Thomas!" Henry would say.
"Thank you Thomas!" Edward would say.
"Thanks." James would say.
He isn't alone on this job. He works with Y/N. Y/N is a shy and timid man. His engine is painted a dark purple that also has six medium wheels, and two small ones at the front. (Sorta like Edward's train)
Thomas enjoys working with Y/N, but also enjoyed teasing Y/N and another man named Gordon.
One day, Y/N had just finished getting his train painted. Y/N got into the cab and drove his train to a nice sunny spot to get better.
Thomas was there as well. He saw Y/N and decided to play a trick on him. Thomas slowly and quietly to Y/N. Thomas thinks nobody works has hard as he does. He loves playing tricks on them, especially Y/N and Gordon.
Thomas blew his whistle loudly. Y/N screamed out in surprise and alarm. He accidentally drove his train forward and it hit a water tower. Water poured onto the train, washing off the paint. Y/N ran out to find out how to stop it, only to get splashed with water and washed off paint.
Y/N frowned as this happened. Thomas couldn't help but giggle playfully. Y/N looked at Thomas, who cheekily chuffed away.
"Come on, lazybones, why don't you work hard like me?" Thomas said.
Later that day, Thomas decided to play a trick on Gordon.
After pulling the big express, Gordon had arrived back at the sidings very tired. Gordon was resting in a hammock he set up outside Knapford station. He had just fallen asleep when.
*PEEP PEEP*
Gordon shot up with a jolt. "Wake up, lazybones, why don't you work hard like me?" Thomas said in a cheeky tone of voice.
Gordon shot a look at Thomas, that showed he was annoyed. Thomas just chuffed away with a look of triumph.
The next day, Y/N and Gordon sat down together at a T.G.I Friday's. Y/N was reading a postcard from his sister who lived in Orlando.
"Hey Y/N. How are things up in Sodor? I hope they are good. Me and Jennifer are saving up to come visit. We hope to visit some time in May, when it's not so crowded. As for the baby, he's due sometime next month. Love you! Have a safe week! Love, Michelle." Y/N read the letter.
"So your gonna be an uncle soon? Good for you." Gordon said, happy for Y/N. Just then, Thomas blew his whistle outside, just to mess with the two.
Y/N yelped and dropped his coffee, then screamed in pain. Gordon dropped his sandwich and ruined his shirt.
"Get up, lazybones, do some hard work for a change! You can't catch me! You can't catch me!" Thomas teased and ran off.
"That's it! I have had it! It's time we teach him a lesson." Gordon said. "We tell Sir Topham Hatt?" Y/N asked
"No. I got something else in mind." Gordon said as he whispered his plan to Y/N. Y/N smiled as he listened in on this.
That night, Y/N turned off Thomas's alarm clock and Gordon splashed water into the firebox of Thomas's train.
That morning, Thomas woke up with a shock. He had overslept and his fire couldn't start and there was not enough steam. It was nearly time for the express. People were waiting, but the coaches weren't ready. At last, Thomas started.
"Oh dear! How could this have happened?!" Thomas said in a panic as his engine finally started up.
Gordon was at the station and waited for Thomas. Y/N was there getting ready to pull a goods train.
Thomas quickly pulled in and started to get the goods and coaches.
"Hurry up!" Gordon said. "Hurry yourself!" Thomas said.
Thomas pushed in the goods train for Y/N, then pushed in the coaches for Gordon. Just as Thomas was getting ready to uncouple his train from the coaches, Y/N walked to him.
"Don't worry Thomas. Allow me." Y/N said.
Thomas looked at Y/N and smiled. "Thanks." Thomas said as he got back on his train. "Now." Y/N said to Gordon, who then quickly started his engine and took off.
Gordon and Y/N's plan had worked. Y/N snickered playfully and got back on his train. He was never gonna let Thomas forget this.
The train went faster and faster. Too fast for Thomas, he wanted to stop, but he couldn't.
Thomas had a hard time standing up. His knees shook and he was tossed around like a golf ball in a three size to big box. He wasn't hurt, just shaken up.
He felt as if he was gonna vomit. "Gordon stop! Stop please! I'm in here!" Thomas begged.
"Hurry, hurry, hurry!" Laughed Gordon. He couldn't believe it, the plan had worked.
Gordon kept spending down the tracks. He kept looking back to make sure Thomas hadn't hurt himself or passed out.
"I shall never be the same again!" Thomas thought sadly. He clutched his stomach and felt it growl. He remembered being little and how his dad and uncle didn't like going on roller coasters, he could now see why.
At last, they stopped at the station. Thomas was uncoupled and he felt very silly and sick. He ran out and threw up into a pile of grass.
Once he was done, he sat down on a bench, thinking of everyone laughing at him. Gordon gave Thomas a bottle of water, he felt a little bad.
"Well, little Thomas. Now you know what hard work means, don't you? Now you see what me and Y/N gotta do. And it'll teach you not to tease us." Gordon said.
Poor Thomas couldn't answer. He had no breath. "Maybe I don't have to tease Gordon and Y/N to feel important." Thomas thought to himself. And he headed slowly home.
