A dark carriage made it's way through the refreshing autumn air. The black horse galloped along the endless road. A small girl kept her head out of the carriage, smiling wide as the wind was playing with her blonde locks. The happiness filling her was suddenly paused by a hand dragging her head back inside.
"We are close, I don't want your hair going everywhere, Ava. I have other things to do when we arrive. I'm not going to spend all morning brushing your hair." Her mother scolded her.
With a sad look on her face, the little girl sank deeper into the seat. She contented herself with simply watching the houses passing. Another hand went over her shoulders.
"Just a few more minutes until we get there. After we unpack, I'm sure mother will let us go outside. We can play, look around, whatever you want, okay?" Her sister smiled and rubbed her shoulder.
"Okay! We'll have so much fun. Are we there yet, Alice?" Ava almost yelled and started jumping up and down.
"Not yet, no."
"What about now? We must be close. I'm very excited!" Ava continued as she clapped her small hands a few times.
"Still no."
"Now?"
"Nope"
The interaction between the two continued until Alice could say yes and in front of them stood a tall, dark building. Their new home. Undetermined time.
