Young Hayami POV
I had to do it and it has to be done now. I can't just sit here and let my uncle kill my parents. The window in the room was always left at a crack so I can get fresh air. If I can use my vines I will be able to push open the window.

No one's POV
Hayami used all her energy to try and push open the window. She struggled, but was able to push it open enough to were a 5 year old could fit.

She slipped through the window and landed on the floor. She ran until she could no longer see anything, but then stopped...

Young Hayami POV
I saw someone coming my way, but I wasn't sure who it was. I had to hide! I was about to run when someone grabbed me by my shirt. It was a lady with white hair and light salmon colored eyes. She was wearing a white kimono with a bell on it.

I saw pity in her eyes as she dragged me to a cherry blossom tree. 'Aren't these trees suppose to bloom in spring not winter' as I looked around it was the only. Cherry blossom tree there, then she spoke. "What is a pureblood doing outside in the cold with cuts?" I wanted to speak, but I couldn't.

I saw a young girl probably the age of 5-6 limping in the snow. It is way to cold to be out here with just a skirt and a thin shirt. I made my way towards and that's when it hit me. The smell of a pureblood's blood and it was coming from her! So she's a pureblood what a surprise, but what is she doing out here? When I got to here I grabbed her wrist and pulled her to the cherry blossom tree. I sat her down and asked "What is a pureblood doing outside in the cold with cuts?" She didn't answer me that's when Ichiru finally came back.

Young Hayami POV
I saw a young boy about my age walk towards us. He looked worried, but about what? He came up and started asking this woman who I was and questions like that. I had finally spoke and said " My name is Hayami Kuran." The woman looked shocked but quickly changed her expression to a kind one and answered " Mine is Shizuka Hio, a pleasure to meet another pureblood."

The boy was now the one with a shocked face. Then he said " There's another pureblood?" Lady Shizuka said " Indeed, but from the looks of it she might need a home." She looked at me and asked with a smile" Would you like to come with us?" I smiled " Yes, I would love to."

For once in my life someone finally wanted me. Shizuka Hio was my savior.
