4 years later.... Ichiru is 11 and Hayami is 9
Shizuka POV
I have learned that me and Hayami are similar in many ways. From our personalities to our pureblood powers. But Hayami has more of a flirtatious but innocent attitude with Ichiru.
She always finds some way to get him flustered. I would consider her my sister, but she is still a Kuran and will always be a Kuran. I think I can change that.
Hayami POV
I have had a lot of fun training and messing around with Ichiru. He is my best friend and I hope to keep it that way. Me and him were practicing when Lady Shizuka came up to us. She spoke " Lady Hayami I would like you to come with me" I nodded and waved goodbye to Ichiru. I ran to follow her as she was a fast walker.
She said " Hayami when you are older I want you to attend a school for vampires and humans. I want you to experience communication with others and there you will grow stronger, but you will have to change yourself before you go." I was confused and asked " What ever do you mean Lady Shizuka?" I need you to change you last name and appearance. That way no one will know you are a Kuran." I nodded and asked " How will I ever change my appearance Lady Shizuka?" She smiled and said " You will have to get marked. See Lady Hayami I consider you as a sister because of how alike we are and I was you to carry the last name, so with that being you'll have to look and and have my surname like me."
For some reason I was very excited to look and have her surname. I was so sick of being a Kuran and I loved Lady Shizuka like a sister, so I accepted. " That is great! We shall hold the ritual on your birthday." I nodded and excused myself, then ran back to Ichiru.
