MISHTI'S POV

I and Abir both were walking on the side of the road, beside each other... Talking, oh wait! Just me talking, he was into the conversation and also spoke sometimes but a bit less... Abir speaks less and I speak a lot, I feel guilty as he always has to listen to my rant... But he says he loves to listen to me,... Aww... He is the best boyfriend ever.😉☺️

Suddenly his phone rang breaking our conversation, he sighed taking it out of his pocket and checking the caller id looking towards me he told me he need to pick it up with a sweet sorry... I told him that's alright, he can go and talk I will wait... Passing me a smile he moved away picking up the call...

Must be something important I thought, as I looked at him going a bit away. I glanced towards the road and the moment when I met Abir for the very first time came to my mind, the collision, us meeting, how we coincidentally, came across thrice that day... Surely Ganpati Bappa was giving us the signal that we are to be together...

My thought process got broken as I heard a little girl standing and crying on the other side of the road, I was going to walk towards her to ask her what happened that's when I saw a lady approaching her with a tense face seeing whom the girl stopped crying and grabbed her hand quickly calling her loudly "Mom" They both smiled at each other happily and the mother was telling her little daughter something which she listened carefully nodding her head cutely...

I assume she was lost from her mom that's the reason she was crying...

Out of my control, a tear rolled down my eyes, as I remembered her my angel, my Ma... How she used to take me every day to market, we used to have so much fun... I miss her till date and will miss her till my last breath...

Rubbing off the tear from my cheek, I looked back at the mother-daughter duo... And saw both of them crossing the road holding each other's hand...

Out of nowhere, the mother pushed her daughter away from the road towards the footpath, I looked towards the other side to see a huge truck approaching the lady at full speed which was looking out of control... The truck driver applied the breaks but it was a bit late as the truck hit the lady's body making her scream as she fell on the road, hitting her head... The little daughter screamed calling her Mom!! Running in her direction... I too ran there to help them out...

But as I reached there the scene sent down shivers through my whole body, blood was oozing out from the lady's head and the little girl was crying while calling her mother...

The worst day of my life started playing again in front of my eyes... The horrible sight, the blood flowing out of my Ma's head and her lying in the pool of blood... while the little me just crying calling her out...

And...

The words of the doctor were ringing in my ears again and again, "Sorry we couldn't save your mother due to excess Blood Loss"

Blood! Blood loss... like a whisper came out of my mouth unknowingly...

Tears were flowing down my eyes as my mom's face flashed in front of my eyes... I couldn't save my ma like a small whisper came out my mouth.

A sudden bad thought consumed my mind What if!? The same thing gets happens with the little girl, she too like me and Mihir Bhai.. No! No!... No!!.... It should not happen to anyone else... My heart started beating furiously just thinking about it, and how that day I lost ma and...

A touch on my shoulder calling me out brought me back out of thought, I looked just to see Abir with a tensed expression looking at me...

Gaining my voice I told him the thought which has just now consumed to my mind, Abir! Her... Her .. head... Blood... Blood... we need to stop it... Blood... What if the same thing happens to her... No!! No... Telling him, or you can say screaming and blabbering again and again about what I felt as my heart was beating furiously and now I was breathing heavily, i tried to control it but I think it was now out my control...

My view was getting blurred, and I was losing my senses the last thing I heard was Abir calling me out And darkness consumed me...

AUTHOR'S POV

After Mishti got fainted in Abir's arms, he called her out many times but it was of no use... He quickly called his men to bring his car to take Mishti to the hospital...

As the doctor was checking Mishti who was laying on the bed inside the hospital's emergency room, Abir wished to scream at the doctor to make his sweetheart awake as soon as possible, but he couldn't as for the time he wanted the doctor to properly examine her...

As the doctor came out after examining her, Abir quickly asked him, What happened to her?

The doctor said, She got fainted due to a sudden drop in blood pressure... Does she have any bp related problems or any other health issues? inquired the doctor.

Abir answered him, telling him that Mishti doesn't have any bp related problem or anything else and explained to him too about how she suddenly got fainted after seeing the accident...

The doctor said, I think she got a panic attack after seeing that.. Must be some phobia or a bad memory... After she gains consciousness we can get to know about it.

Abir answered saying, Ok! I will call you after she gets conscious...

The doctor left from there nodding in agreement to what Abir said...

After which Abir entered the room and sat on a chair next to the bed where his Mishti was laying unconscious... Holding her hand he waited for her to open her eyes, and look at him as that's the thing that will calm his fast-beating heart now...
