MISHTI'S POV
"I came here to tell you everything, Mishti," he whispered against my hair, his voice trembling. "Everything. No more lies. No more secrets. You deserve the truth... about why I am in this world... why I became the man you saw that night."
I blinked, trying to process his words. "I don't want to hear it, Abir. I don't want to listen to anything. Please, just let me go."
But he didn't move. "No, sweetheart. You need to hear this," he pleaded, his voice soft and desperate. "Just... one last chance, please. Let me explain everything. My past. The darkness I'm trapped in. Why I had to become the man I am today."
I hesitated, my mind swirling with emotions. Could I handle the truth? Could I listen to the man I loved reveal the darkness that had consumed him? "Abir... I don't know if I can handle more lies..." I whispered.
"No more lies, Mishti. I swear," he said, his voice filled with desperation. "You know I love you... I know you still love me too. Please, just give me this one chance."
I closed my eyes, feeling his forehead pressed against mine, his breath warm against my skin. For a brief second, I let myself believe that maybe, just maybe, there was still something left between us. Despite everything. Despite the lies and the darkness.
"Okay," I whispered, my voice barely audible. "But after that, you need to stop this madness, Abir. I will decide what I want..."
He smiled, brushing his lips gently against my forehead. "I'll try, sweetheart. For you."
My eyes snapped open, and I stared at him, shocked. "You'll try?" I repeated, disbelief clear in my voice.
He smirked, his fingers still resting on my cheek as he looked into my eyes. "You know I can't promise anything more than that, Sweetheart. You're mine... I won't ever let you go."
My expression hardened, and I pulled away from him, shaking my head. "This... this is exactly what I mean, Abir," I whispered, tears welling up again. "You don't get it. You say you love me, but your love... it's suffocating." his smirk faded, replaced with something darker.
"I love you in my way, Mishti. And you belong to me. No one else can have you. Not that boy at the café. Not anyone." His voice dropped, possessiveness lacing every word. My body shivered at his tone. "This isn't love, Abir," I whispered. "This... this is.." I was at a loss for words.
He smiled again, softer this time. "It's love, sweetheart. You'll understand once you hear everything. You'll see why I did what I did. I had no choice. And why I am how I am today..." His words were making me weak somehow...
"Let me show you, Mishti," he whispered, stepping closer again, and wrapping his arms around my waist. "Let me tell you the truth. And then... we can start over. Together."
I didn't answer, my body trembling in his arms, but deep down, I knew the truth wouldn't set me free—it would only tie me to him even more.

ABIR'S POV
As I drove toward the mansion, my grip on the steering wheel tightened. I could feel Mishti's uneasy gaze on me, but she stayed silent, probably wondering what I was about to tell her.
I drove in silence, the weight of my decision heavy in the pit of my stomach. Today, I will finally tell Mishti everything. She needed to know the truth—the truth about why I had become the man I am, why I had made the choices I did, and why I was trapped in this darkness.
