The tension in the air stiffened as the genin, and the two Jonin sensei locked eye to eye with Zabuza and Haku and surprisingly, Naruto was there with them.
"Naruto, care to explain what is going on?" Kakashi asked as Naruto stiffened and laughed nervously. Thinking of ways to make a silly excuse
"What's the matter sensei? I'm simply hanging out with them, Nothing suspicious here." As the other genins sweatdropped at the sight.
"There is no need for hostility Kakashi of the Sharingan and Asuma of the 12 guardians. We came in peace." Zabuza stated as he approached the team as they held their kunai's tight.
"How should we believe you then?" Kakashi asked as he readied his Sharingan.
"Ask your genin here. He can explain the whole situation."
"Let's start with..."
Naruto explained the whole situation to his fellow leaf shinobi, Kakashi being the proud surrogate father that he is, gave credit to Naruto and his 'one too many steps ahead' thinking. Asuma simply wide eyed and Sasuke smirked, Naruto's blowing off some steam shtick had a purpose after all, Ino was... Mesmerized by his smarts, Shikamaru looked indifferent stating that it was troublesome but worth it.
Sakura was amazed and Kiba was somehow jealous but not in an "Alpha" way but amzed at the same time. As soon as Tazuna went outside...
"What the hell is going on HE-OHHH KAMI!!" As he ran inside the house locking it tight.
Everyone simply chuckled including Zabuza and haku was openly giggling.
"Ok now that's one thing off the hook, Stand down everyone" Asuma said as everyone relaxed.
"Zabuza, Haku, We all know the bloodline purges happening in Kiri, and most of all, I trust my son in all but blood. Whatever he said here is the truth. Gato is the one of the richest yet the lowest of the low. He doesn't care about honor in a.contract after all." Kakashi said as Zabuza had a lot of thoughts running in his head. He began to speak in which Haku Looked at him with curiousity.
"Very well, what's the plan."
"Zabuza-sama You can't!-"
"No Haku, if anything, All of.you can consider me as a double edged sword, once everything is a fraud, I'll deal with you all."
"Troublesome, Any plans Guys?" Shikamaru asked,
"Think of a plan Shika, I have little to no braincells functioning for the time being." Naruto said earning a Scoff from Sasuke.
"Since when did you became the knucklehead again?" Sasuke asked.
"Psh, I can anytime."
"OI shut up everybody, I can think of a plan that can surely prove Gato he is the snitch. We can have a mock battle, more like a sparring. Play possum as well that we are injured and appear that you both lost and about to drop, That's about it. I recommend ypu rest Naruto, You'll need to be here because I'm sure Gato's men will come after Tsunami and Inari. Quite troublesome." Shikamaru said earning a nod from the team.
"Ok that's a sound plan Shikamaru. When are we going to execute it antway?" Ino asked.
"We can do it tomorrow Ino. For now, we have to train hard even if the situation is somehow leveled here pretty cool." Asuma said lighting up another Cigarette.
