Shino walked towards the spectators section without any hint of emotion as if he knew he had already won before his match with the Sound nin began, which he did.

"Good job out there Shino-san you clapped him huh! But not better than me right Akamaru." Kiba said to which Akamaru barked staying in between. Shino then replied in the most logical way possible "Yes if it is a close-up battle but if it is a long range battle, I win so it hangs in the balance, Why? It's because every shinobi has a preferred combat specialty." Naruto simply nodded as Kiba scoffed "Yeah whatever, different Shinobis different techniques" Kiba then retorted as Sasuke gave the most snarky Uchiha reply

"For once the dog boy is right. I guess the world ends when the mutt becomes smarter than me." Kiba simply snarled at the Uchiha as Hinata was giggling at the interaction of the two. Kiba looked at the Uchiha with the Hyuga his eyes panning with Naruto and Ino as Sakura was looking at Lee's direction "Man, I wish Karin-chan was here." Kiba then said Jealous at his own predicament "No worries, I will tell Karin that you were looking for her. Just remember, one wrong move and your done Kiba," Naruto threatened as Kiba nodded furiously his beatdown from Naruto still fresh in his mind as he doesn't want to do anything with angering the blond wanting to get to his good side to avoid unnecessary violence. Ino simply chuckled as Shikamaru groaned wanting to sleep as waiting for his match was troublesome enough as he was a little bit of an impatient guy when it comes at a situation like this.

"Will *** Kankuro Subaku and Misumi Tsurugi * Enter the battlefield as we begin the third match of the Preliminary rounds" Gekko then said as the nins from suna and sound Kankuro had something strange tied on his back like a mummy. "This won't take too long" He said as Temari scoffed at his brother's arrogance. Gaara gave a harsh glare towards Kankuro that made the puppet user tremble "Don't fail" The sand boy said as Kankuro nervously nodded.

The said puppet user went down the arena, face to face with the Oto nin, as he smugly looked at him. The oto nin was irritated yet amused to see this, he would love to remove the cocky smug of this Cat suit boy's face he thought.

"Third match of *** the preliminaries* Kanku** Kankuro no Subaku vs Misumi Tsurugi no Oto** HAJIME!"

Hayate announced as the two genin were ready to go at it. They charged at each other as Kankuro went to hold on to the wrapped thing on his back. Misumi had thrown a Kunai to distract the Cat boy. As soon as Kankuro saw this he dodged. He was confused as Misumi was smirking in glee.

In an unusual turn of events, Misumi then would give Kankuro a hear hug. Not just that, his arms stretched wrapped around the neck of Kankuro Kankuro has his eyes widened. He admit, he too was even surprised.

"Heh too easy. Surrender now cat boy before I snap the life out of you." The oto nin thretened as Temari had the urge to face palm, Gaara was stoic and void of all emotion. He eyed the Blonde haired boy and The raven head Uchiha. He smiled as an entity inside him kept on pestering the poor boy to kill both of them

"As if." Kankuro replied with smugness all over it. It was then that the Oto nin Snapped the life out of Kankuro as some of the genins were horrified. Naruto and Sasuke noticed that something is off Sasuke Activated his Sharingan while asking Hinata to activate her Byakugan sa well. They saw something, Strings? Made of chakra? "What is happening? I can't sense any Chakra from the puppet guy. Strange" Naruto mused "There are strings attached to the guy, We'll see what happens,"
