Naruto and Lee was sent in the infirmary alongside their sensei. Their fight went overboard and too destructive they had to repair the arena and gave the fighters a short break, Though the next and final fight was announced, It was Kiba vs Gaara.

Kiba was nervous, From Naruto's information. Gaara held the Ichibi no Tanuki. "Shit. Why in the Kami I would have to face him. Might as well forfeit," Akamaru barked in disagreement seemingly convincing him to try at least let the fight reveal the techniques the Suna Jinchuriki has for future.
