Naruto was taking a nap in his seat while waiting for the others to go inside the classroom. Iruka went out of the room to get the masterlist of team placements in the faculty. While asleep, he spread his senses and heard footsteps approaching the room he tensed up and took a book out of his bag, a journal about Hiraishin that his father left him. Still trying to figure out on how to add things and enhance it further.

A man in raven hair in a high collar blue T-shirt. An arm warmer and a baggy shortpants with a pouch entered into the room. Naruto looked at him and smirked. Decided to tease the Uchiha

"Oi, Emo duckbutt"

"Che. Dobe. Unusual to see.you so early"

"Yea, I'm the rookie of the year. I need to set a good example"

"Heh, Likewise."

As the two kept quiet after that. More and more students entered the room. They just minded their own business until he saw Choji and Shikamaru

"OI CHOJI SHIKAMARU!"

As usual, Choji was munching on his potato chips while Shikamaru was always lazy eyed with a laid back gesture. Only tensing up at the topic of tactics and Shogi

"Yo, Naruto"

"Oi NARUTO!"

As the duo sat on their respective chairs.

"Oi Naruto, I heard you had beaten my dad in a game.of Shogi, care to share how you did it? I need to beat him so that He'll never bother training me. It's too troublesome to move a muscle"

"Heh, And Here I though you are the smartest of the bunch Shika. Training is all and good Shika,"

"Yea Naruto is right, You got to listen since he topped the test yesterday. He even went on an A-rank mission afterwards" Choji said Sasuke tensed up when he heard it

"NO WAY!"

"Come on Sasuke, It involved Mizuki who wanted to get rid of me. You don't have to be oblivious about it. He was betraying the leaf stealing the scroll of seals through me."

Sasuke just grunted looking away in shame. He had an involvement yesterday. Though he failed he had an eye opener. His pride prevented him to interact further, though it is good that Naruto noticed that there were no Superiority complex in the Uchiha's gaze. Only pride.
