An: I am back once again and finally, I'm gaining back some motivation to continue this story and we're finally in the preliminaries of the CHUNIN EXAMS! Heck yeah. Oh yeah, Spoiler alert, I will alter some fights to my own liking as I hardly remember the fights in the Chunin exams but remember a few. Like what I said I am gonna continue this story even if it takes me years to finish LOL. The entire rookie 9 as well as the other genins were led by a high ranking jonin in the ANBU training grounds as Hiruzen well Danzo in a henge noticed the amount of genins as this hadn't happened before. Still signaling the ANBU to tail on the shady Kabuto Yakushi as he was already threading on thin ice that wasn't on his radar but he noticed that the ANBU had a tight and close eye on him which raised a red flag for him but disregarded it anyways as it wasn't important

If it wasn't for a mark placed by the ever so sly yet cunning of a prodigy with that being

Uzumaki Naruto.

Every genin gathered around in the grounds as 'Hiruzen' was sitting in his Hokage chair as he noticed the flock of rookies but decided to jump down as he began his speech "Welcome to the ANBU training grounds. I am pleased to see that a lot of you has passed our second stage of the exams and I am shocked over haw many are you. Doesn't matter we will cut down that number in half." 'Hiruzen' casually said which confused some genins as they were told that there will be a lot of people watching them as the third stage is the finals. "Now I know some of you are confused but I'll let my chosen proctor to explain everything" 'Hiruzen' said as Naruto can't help but snicker at the bluntness of Danzo. Ino noticed this as she asked her blonde lover "Naruto-kun, what's so funny about?" "Oh nothing Ino. Let's just say that hiruzen-jiji would've given a long-ass speech about chunin exams as a replacement for war bla bla bla" Naruto replied as Shikamaru already knew what was going on "Troublesome, that is not Hokage-sama huh?"

"Shh your too smart for your own good sometimes Shika. Let's just say Hiruzen-jiji took on a training trip because of you know what and a lovable weird and mysterious man who wanted the Hokage position for so long finally took it. Even if its only a month and I can say he is enjoying the moment." Naruto replied as Ino was still confused as to what was really going on as she is starting to grow a tick mark "Ok seriously you guys, tell me what is really going on or you both are gonna get it. I don't care if this blonde is my boyfriend." Ino said huffing and crossing her arms on her chest. "Mou Ino-chan. I was just talking about Danzo-jiji" Naruto replied as he gave Ino a peck on the cheek which made the Yamanaka blush "Ok this became even more troublesome" Shikamaru said as he face palmed

"WTSHHHH Whipped. Pathetic for a man" A certain hulking beast said as Naruto grew a tick mark towards the bijuu. "Does that excuse you as well? I mean, you are like a pet after all." Naruto then retorted with a shit eating grin on his face. There was a deathly deaf silence that could make a man wet his pants as KI was slowly flooding the area coming from the fox but Naruto countered it with his own.

"WHAT DID YOU CALL ME YOU DAMN BRAT!!!?" Roared the fox as his roar was heard from mountains and mountains that exist inside the blonde's mindscape. His screams echoed bloody murder on it until Naruto cut the link from his mindscape before he was mauled by the bijuu. Naruto was back into the real world smirking as the proctor was explaining everything about how the preliminaries would go.

The proctor was a sickly jounin who suffers from a certain respiratory illness (not asthma). He had a tanto strapped on his back and Naruto noticed this and deduced that he is a kenjutsu user. Probably an expert basing on how he carried himself among the crowd of jounin and chunin obervers along with some council members as well as the flock of genins. (* - this will be the coughs as to not waste more time typing LOL)
