It was a rather uneventful week for team 10. They were stucked with fixing fences, Farming, buying groceries and heck, even the new mission of finding a lost necklace which were repetitive but didn't complained too much but by the 90th mark of doing D-ranks. they've had enough. If it's not D-rank missions that were bugging them, Its the rigorous training from Asuma. While Naruto and Ino were able to keep up, Shikamaru was complaining all the time. Asuma knew that his team had to take a break from the d-rank missions as he needs to build up their skills and train, Especially whip the Lazy Nara into shape.

"GOD! I can't stand this anymore!" Ino said as she was hammering a nail to fix the fence from a client who owns a garden

"I know I get it! This is to simulate and help us learn on how to operate missions properly But Damn it this is like the 90th time we are doing this task again!" Naruto replied as he went to carry another set of wood.

"This is troublesome, Too Troublesome. I just wanna take a nap" Shikamaru added as he was yawning with seemingly tired eyes.

"Come on cheer up, We'll be doing a better mission soon. Besides, I can see that you are ready for a new mission." Asuma said as Ino and Naruto light up while Shikamaru gasped.

"No. This is the most troublesome news I heard after all this time, great more tasks, less sleep."

Asuma simply chuckled whole the two blonds had a sadistic grin in their faces. It was harmless but Shikamaru couldn't help but sweat drop at the sight of it. Asuma caught on this one and gave the two a hard glare motioning them to stop. A few more hammers and doing handyman stuff, The team were done with fixing the fence. They talked with the client and was happy to have the kids help him in fixing the fence as it was too meddlesome to let the chickens roaming around the area.

"Hoo! All done finally! I've been wanting this moment all day long! I might go 25 bowls for this one!" Naruto said earning a sweatdrop from his team. He grinned and rubbed the back of his head telling them that he was just kidding. They had to admit to themselves despite the absurdity of the missions, they had fun and even drove them closer to each other. It was a sight that Asuma was happy at. Not to mention, they are all skilled.

Lunch was fast approaching and the three were hungry. They were in a hurry to report to the Hokage about it and would ask for a break or a mission much higher than the last one. "Say, guys what do you want? Home cooked meal from the famed gourmet chef himself or let someone cook for us?" Naruto asked with pride in his voice. Ino nodded furiously in Naruto's home-cooked meal as she liked her fellow blond's cooking more than the others. Shikamaru simply nodded and Asuma wouldn't pass up the offer of free food from his student. "Why yes, we would love to have your cooking."

"Asuma-sensei I sense a 'because' coming from your statement," Naruto said as Asuma sweatdropped. Shikamaru find it troublesome and amusing as Ino was openly laughing as she knows what Naruto meant

"You don't have to tell me sensei, come on, Who wouldn't pass up the offer of free food?"  Naruto said as it made Shikamaru chuckle as Ino was still laughing but Asuma cleared his throat to hide his embarrassment from his students as they were approaching the Hokage tower. After setting an appointment and being redirected to the Hokage tower. After a few minutes of walking, they knocked at the door and heard a faint Voice that says "Come in!"
