An hour had gone by and I already wanted to escape this dinner, Max was so self obsessed he would only talk about himself. His few outfit, his new car and his new phone it was all about him I did not know if he assumed this would impress me but if he did then he was failing to do so.

"I'm sorry, I hope I'm not late." I arched my eyebrows at Angel who suddenly decided to make an appearance, he settled down welcoming himself as he placed an arm behind my chair which got the attention of Max.

"Do you know each other?" Max asked, finally something that did not regard him. I gulped my spit and looked at him and then at Angelos who had a smirk on his face but the amusement did not reach his eyes. He was here to prove something.

"I am her boyfriend." My eyes widened at his words, snapping my head at him. Was this man out of his mind, he did not understand that Max's mother was a friend of my mother which mean the news would travel.
"Boyfriend? I was not aware you were taken?" He asked his eyebrows narrowed in questioning, I sighed not able to talk. I opened my mouth to speak against Angel but he beat me too it.

"Babe, you didn't tell him. My bad, you see Callista here prefers to keep everything private including her relationship with me." He continued to lie making me frown, why was he doing this?
"Very well, I apologies for coming in the way I will leave now." Max said standing up and leaving, I turned my body to face Angel who gave me a sheepish smile.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him, he shrugged his shoulders but the smile remained.
"I may only be your fuck buddy, but this pussy is mine. And I am not letting anyone take it from me. I don't like sharing." With my eyebrows arched I was left speechless, it was the very moment the waiter came to ask if we were done with the starters and would like to order. You could see the confusion in his face when he saw Max was replaced by Angel.

"Yes, i would like a buttermilk chicken fillet with fries as an side. With a glass of coke, don't want to get drunk when I'm rocking my girls world." My eyes were wide at his words, I could not believe Angel was saying all this so casually. I could feel my cheeks heat up in embarrassment.
"I'd like a well done steak with salad and fries as an side and a glass of red wine please." The waiter wrote down our order before giving me a flirtatious smile which had not gone unseen by Angel who sent him a glare.

It was not long before our food was placed in front of us, the waiter avoided me at all cost with the deathly glare Angel was sending him. Digging into my food I had not realised how hungry I had actually been.

"Why do you run away?" I stopped eating for a moment, hearing his words gulping down the food before tilting my head to the side to look into his mesmerising grey eyes.
"I am sitting here, am I not." I knew his question was directed to something I did not want to answer, I wanted to bury what I had gone through and how men had only caused problem and hurt towards me.

"You are. But your running from how you feel for me, tell me my touch does not bring you butterflies like yours does to me, tell me you don't crave me like I crave you." He spoke, I remained silent not having an answer for him. I knew I felt everything he felt for me, but I was not going to let myself get hurt. I was able to handle myself without a man in my life.

Standing up, I pulled my wallet out paying for my own food before grabbing my jacket and purse and walking out. I could hear his yells for my name, I silently cursed I had no ride home I had came here with Max and with him gone I had no one.
