A smile appeared on my face as I cut the red ribbon welcoming the new school which had been build, I had been working on this project for the past few months and with all the investors we were able to make it happen.
Hearing the claps at the back made me smile even more, walking up the steps which led to the entrance. I had so much more dreams, to take this accomplishment even further.
Dressed in a formal business white dress, with black heels and my hair tied into a pony. I turned around waving towards the paparazzi, who snapped me. I then look towards my family who waved with a proud smile on there face. My eyes swiftly looked around in search before settling on the man I had been looking for, a soft welcoming smile was on my face which he gladly returned.
He had somehow welcomed himself in my life, I was not going to lie he still annoyed the living life out of me. I was liking how everything was going, no commitments and just pure pleasure and fun. My mother was also convinced I was not a lesbian, when a month ago she had appeared at my mansion whilst I was moving everything in and witness me and Angel in a heated make out session, I had convinced her to keep it between us and she had not mentioned it to anyone except the few shades she sends here and there.
"You should say a few words, it's good for publicity." My assistant whispered into my ears, I looked at him and nodded my head the smile still on my face as I opened my mouth to say the words I had been rehearsing.
"Welcome everyone to Maisie Moore High school, the dream which I had ever since I had taken over my fathers business, to take the route away from what he usually did. My mother has always been supportive, a back bone to me so having her name on a building encouraged me and also towards all the students to take a step towards there future no matter what they want to do. Education would lead them to success." Everyone clapped when I finished my sentence, I could see mother wiping away the few fallen tears as she clapped her hands with a smile on her face.
A few more pictures were taken before I turned around, and walked further into the building. The inside was just how I imagined it, each interior was planned by me. The walls were not the usual boring white but I had changed it to have different colours, red, yellow, blue, purple and green. Each colour represented something, red passion, yellow equality, blue excellence, purple diversity and green power.
I smiled towards the man I had employed as the principal, he shook my hand before posing for the camera which had followed me inside.
"I take great pleasure to be given the role as a principle, I ensure you Miss Moore I will do my part to uphold the dream to make this school the best place to study with excellence in performance." Mr Cold Bricks said, making me smile.
"I do not except anything less from you Mr Bricks. I have high hopes from you, this school has been a dream for me. I expect all students to enjoy and have every resources they need to excel." I responded back to which he nodded his head in agreement. I could see a bright future for this place, I had grown to attend schools for riches but I wanted this school to be different to hold equality between all students no matter if you come from an working class house hold or a rich household.I did not want no hierarchy, there has already been enough of that in society. It's time we youngsters make a change and for the better.
The journey around the school had been done quicker than expected, there was a drama studio, lecture rooms, gym, gymnastics hall, atrium, field for football, Ruby, cricket and rounders and then a separate hall for basket hall, badminton and other inside sports. There was also two libraries on the ground floor and also on the second floor, followed by a whole third floor to be computer room.
I was exhausted in the end of the tour, Mr Bricks had taken the role to enroll all students and give me the update and reviews. I imagined, Ares going to this school one day and enjoying school rather than being miserable.
"You have done well, Callie." Crystal spoke approaching me, I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her into a warm hug.
"Thank you, I did not see my dream coming into life this quick. But I must say the patience and encouragement from my family has had a great deal on me to achieve what I wanted." I answered truthfully, I loved my family no matter how frustrating and annoying they were at times they were always there for you through thick and thin."I agree with your sister, the school was excellent from the decor to the resources you have invested in." Ace said as i hugged him, it made me feel proud to know I had excelled in what I had imagined, and was able to put forward a brilliant school.
"I must say you have outdone me, I am glad to be doing business with you Miss Moore." I shivered hearing Angel's voice. Upholding a professional smile in front of Ace and Callie I shook his hand but I did not miss the way his thumb would rub the back of my hand."We should hold a party for your succession." Father said wrapping his arms around my shoulder, to which mother agreed I smiled at them before shaking my head.
"I do not want a party, having dinner would just be fine. All of us, together." I said to which they all agreed and cheered. I loved my family, they supported my dream and never once questioned me.
