"Where are you?" You sighed as you held your phone against your ear, reaching your boyfriend's voicemail once again. "This sucks. You keep forgetting about our dates. I'm sitting here alone in the restaurant by myself yet again. Are you coming or not?"

You kept your voice down, trying to ignore the occasional stares you got from other couples in the fancy romantic restaurant where you were sitting alone once more.

"Just forget it. Call me when you get this."

You ended the call and sipped on your water, impatiently waiting as you tried to hold back your tears.

Your boyfriend is very important to you.

He means a lot to you.

But sometimes, you wonder if that feeling is just one-sided.

You don't feel as though he cares about you anymore as if he doesn't love you the way he once said he did.

Sometimes, you can't help but wonder if he ever did with the way he treats you.

This is the sixth date he's blown off this month. He continues to promise he'll be there, that he'll show up this time as he rattles off apology after apology. Yet, he seems to be all talk and no action. Because he never shows up.

And you feel so silly for continuing to believe that he will and that he's sorry for not arriving when he never shows up and can never stay true to his promises.

You decided to pull out your phone and scroll through Instagram. Maybe you could contact him or his friends there and see where he is.

You opened the app, his most recent post was the first thing you saw in your feed.

And your heart dropped when you saw it.

You turned down the volume so it wouldn't disturb anyone else in the restaurant and you played the video.

He was spending his time at a party, drunk off his ass as he slurred his words in the video he was taking.

But it got much worse than that.

You watched as he filmed everything going on around him, from the loud music to the flashing lights to the girl sitting beside him.

And you watched as he pulled her in for a kiss, practically shoving his tongue down her throat as they went from kissing to making out, his phone falling to the floor so he could pull her closer.

This was the last straw for you.

You pulled out your wallet, tossing some money onto the table to tip your waiter and cover your bill, despite only ordering a couple of drinks.

You stormed out of the restaurant and once you got outside, you began to cry.

Sitting on the ground, you sobbed as it sank in that he didn't care about you whatsoever.

It was a crushing feeling considering you gave him everything. You supported him, loved him, and you stayed loyal to him - three things he didn't reciprocate.

You decided to call someone since you didn't want to be alone right now and needed a shoulder to cry on.

And, instinctively, you turned to your best friend.

You shakily held your phone against your ear, listening to it ring as you attempted to get ahold of your best friend.

And it only took two rings for her to pick up.

"Y/N? Hi, how are you?" Dove cheerfully spoke.

"Not good." You sniffled.

It was evident that you were crying, and hard.
