You sat on the floor in front of the toilet on your knees. Tears streamed down your cheeks, a sob left your lips, your fingers shook as you rested them on your thighs.

You don't exactly know how or when this started but it's all getting so much worse. you can feel yourself starting to slip away and you don't know how to stop it. You're too scared to ask for help.

You flushed the toilet and stood on your feet. You splashed some cold water on your skin and took a good look at yourself in the mirror.

You could hardly recognize yourself; the pressure from the media and fans as well as the people who held a magnifying glass to your every single move has finally gotten the best of you.

You can't seem to remember the last time you could eat and not let the little voice in your head tear you to pieces or the last time you kept it down. You're tired and drained. All you wanted was to crawl back under the covers of your warm and comforting bed.

You opened the bathroom door and you saw Dove standing there in tears. It was clear that she had heard you get sick. She wasn't even home when you ran into the bathroom, but she's had her suspicions for a while now, and you'd just confirmed them.

"Dove, I-"

She didn't even let you finish. She just walked over to you. Pulling you into her arms, you rested your chin on her shoulder and clung to her. You heard her sniffle as she started to rub your back. "I'm sorry."

You cried and she shushed you softly. "I know. It's gonna be okay." She mumbled and pulled away from you, taking you by your trembling hand and leading you to your bedroom. She sat on the edge of the bed and then pulled you next to her. "When did this start?"

You shrugged. "I really don't remember... but now I can't seem to stop." She exhaled shakily. She reached for your hand and took it into hers. "I felt so pressured, Dove. From the fans to the media to the comments that seem to flood my page from people that don't even know me but judge me like I'm just... nothing. I felt insecure and I thought this would help. But now it's like I can feel myself spiraling out of control but I can't stop."

You looked at her with puffy cheeks and teary eyes. "You're perfect just the way you are. I fell in love with you because you're not just beautiful on the outside, but the inside as well. You don't ever need to change. We can get control over the comments and the media. I'll do whatever I have to do, but I can't lose you."

You heard the crack in her voice and all you could do was throw your arms around her. "We have to get you some help." She said as she brushed her fingers up and down your back.

You didn't argue with her. You knew she was right, you couldn't keep going on like this. So you wordlessly nodded your head and let her hold you close. It was what you've needed for so long; for someone to hold you close and remind you that everything was gonna be alright.

And even though you felt terrified, you also felt relieved and hopeful. You didn't wanna be this way forever and you knew it'd be a tough journey ahead. But Dove would be there by your side and you'd get through this with her.
