Chapter 3: green eyes

two weeks ago in your 35th week of pregnancy via a c-section your son was born. you were meant to be a mother and bonding with Ellis came very easily to you however jack found being a father really difficult. Ben and Harry have been a great up but ben lived 45 minutes away, harry returned to set with tom and jack left at 10pm that night so the only help you had left was mason who luckily lived a few houses down. just before you went into labour you applied for a marketing position at Cobham, mostly because modelling was only a short term job for you that you hoped would progress into acting but being pregnant and the connection with the baby changed your mind. at least working at Cobham he would be around your dad, sister and all the Chelsea boys who could pull their weight with baby sitting.

jack was packing when you wandered through into the bedroom and politely asked for him to take you to Cobham. jack snappy response of "you can drive" really took you aback it was almost as if two weeks ago they didn't slice you open, rearrange your organs and remove his child so you very quickly reminded him and he grabbed his gym bag and stormed to the car. Jacks recent attitude had began to piss you off but you were trying to mindful that he was being forced to leave his own son. as the kay was pulled out of the ignition jack climbed out of the car walked to the boot grabbed his bag and walked into Cobham, luckily mase and Reece where here to rescue you again. mason opened your door and placed his hand around you lifting you from the Mercedes seat whilst Reece struggled to unbuckle Ellis' seat. you had pretty much mastered walked however going from sitting to standing to walking was a struggle so it was pretty hurtful when jack just left you. mason refused to let you get all the baby's bags and walk on your own instead he placed a hand on your hip and assisted you into the building and the room ben was sat in. when you had adjusted into your seat you pulled baby from the car seat and began to feed him whilst you unleashed all your stress onto ben and mase when he was listening to you and not starting at the baby on your lap. it was painful to watch how mason, a man you hadn't even had a proper conversation with before he found you post argument with jack took more interest in your feelings and your baby than your own boyfriend and baby daddy.

suddenly jack appeared in the doorway and told you he was gonna make the drive back now, you were confused since he was supposed to come and get Ellis' injections with you. when you reminded him of this he started to shout and get angry with you. ben picked up Ellis and took him into another room as me and jack continued to argue, mase remained planted into his seat. the argument continued but it was impossible to get a point through to jack when he was throwing so many unnecessary words at you. jack made one comment that broke you, the tears started falling and jack just looked at you and walked away. mase closed the door and you sat on the floor, he joined you on the floor wrapped his arm around your back and started rocking you slowly. "Stella I will come and get his vaccinations with you dont worry, ive told you this before I'm here for you" you simply couldn't understand how a man could be so patient and accepting, so you asked him why he felt the need to care for you, in that moment he opened up about something he probably hasn't told a lot of people. in the moment you were the same person, the same sobbing mess on the floor.

listening to masons story made you realise it wasnt worth forcing yourself into a relationship for your child that wont work out, so you ended things with jack and made a post on Instagram to announce one of the best blessings you have ever received the caption read...
