Chapter 10: I love our little dysfunctional family

you opened your eyes to the sum beaming in through the floor to ceiling window covered over slightly with a black curtain. morning got so much better when u turned around to see mason sleeping peacefully with Ellis curled up cutely across his bare chest. the butterflies you got every morning were only getting worse. you moved over closer to mason and he moved his arm underneath you and pulled you closer kissing your head. by 10 am mason was awake and in the shower and you were busy feeding Ellis and getting him ready for the day, over the last week he had spent everyday between 11 and 5 with jack so it was nice to know you had your baby back for the day whilst jack went for a haircut and to all day physio. you decided today would be a good day to take Ellis swimming for the first time. mason climbed into the pool lowering Ellis legs in slowly and once he was mostly submerged in water he gave you the biggest smile. by 2 o'clock Ellis was napping and mason was in the gym so you decided to finally get out of the pool and go and make some lunch. you dried off just enough you good remain in your bikini without dripping water all over the floor. the windows gave you just enough of a view into the gym if you slightly bent over the kitchen counter. watching mason lift weights and squat was one of your favourite hobbies so you were bent over the kitchen counter drooling into your freshly chopped tomatoes and lettuce when u heard jack walk into the kitchen holding Ellis. you turned to look at him and he turned Ellis around to look at you and went "damn ells your mama hot", as much as it made you uncomfortable for the sake of Ellis you just decided to ignore his comment and roll your eyes. "anyway Stella hes hungry so do u mind feeding him before you eat because I might take him with me to get my trim if you dont mind", you just agreed knowing as much as you just wanted to spend the day with your baby jack goes weeks without seeing him so it was only fair. jack passed you mason so you sat down on the sofa and pulled you boob just enough of your bikini Ellis could latch one, jack sat down in front you and started talking to you about coming to see Ellis more regularly and maybe even coming up on a Tuesday and spending Tuesday and Wednesday night in your apartment and you would stay at masons room at Cobham and then jack could travel home on Thursday. after 10 minutes mason must've been able to see you breastfeeding and jack sat opposite you from the gym window because he came walking around the corner. "hey baby, oh hey jack are you okay" he stopped behind you and pulled you hair to one side, exposing the large love bite he left on your neck and planted a soft kiss there. jacks face dropped completely ruing whatever hope he still had for you two, masons grin said it all. eventually Ellis topped eating and you passed him back to jack, leaving just you and mason alone. "I'm not the jealous and id never tell you what you can and cant wear but I'm a little uncomfortable with you walking around like that Infront of everyone, not because you dont look good trust me you look great but you know how jack feels about you". you nodded as mason began to remove his shirt and toss it towards you, you pulled it on and finished assembling your salad. you tucked yourself into a little corner with your dinner and your phone wasting at least 3 hours before you moved again.

by bed time the entire training camp was deadly quiet except you and mason, mason was somewhere lurking and you decided to  jump in the shower before baby woke up for his final feed, 20 minutes passed when you finally decided to step out of the hot water. you were standing by the sink washing off the reminder of the chlorine off your face when u noticed mason sat on the end of the bed holding Ellis' blanket. you shouted him and he stood up, entering the bathroom he picked up his toothbrush and began brushing his teeth after 20 seconds you need the same. nothing needed to be said but you both started laughing at each other and smearing toothpaste down his face. he had a way of always  making you feel like the 19 year old you were, not the girl forced to grow up to fast by the constant media coverage. he picked you up through you over his shoulder and moved the bed cover throwing you down in the space. he pulled Ellis cot over to the edge of your bed and turned he light off and climbed in next to you. he pulled you close to him moving your head onto his chest. "I love you" you nodded drifting into to sleep and not really acknowledging what he said. "I feel like I dont tell you how you beautiful you really are sometimes but I love you and I love our little dysfunctional family more than anything else"...
