Chapter 12: hi babies

the next morning went very quickly, mason could sense you didn't feel very well so he got up and got himself and Ellis ready. waking up and lying bed feeling sorry for yourself was exactly what you needed. by around half 10 you got a ft from mason, he was sat in the gym opposite the car seat Ellis was happily playing in. last pregnancy your dad felt like the last person you told, mainly due to the fact his 19 year old daughter was pregnant to the one person he told you to stay away from. recently, through masons help the relationship with your dad and definitely gotten better and he'd even told you he was proud of you and what you've achieved so you wanted him to hear the new first.

the phone started ringing and the panic sent in, "hi dad, are you busy" you heard him close a door, "no ofc in not Hun is it important are you okay" you could her his panicked breathing, "oh dad dont worry I'm fine but I need you to promise you wont you tell anyone" he giggled "okay stella i promise but theres clearly something go on so spit it out", after a couple of seconds of radio silence you finally said it for the first time since you found out "I'm pregnant". he was shocked but eventually you could sense the excitement in his voice, and after about 5 minutes of him telling you how happy and proud he was it someone knocked at his off door and told him kai was there for briefing, he told you he would call you later on and that he loved you to the moon and back.

you ran yourself a bath and spent at least an hour scrolling through Instagram and letting the water relax your muscles when your phone started ringing and Rebecca's name popped up, after 20 minutes you had both discovered tonight was the reveal of the England world cup squad which meant a night out to celebrate with the boys, at first her panic confused you until she disclosed she was pregnant and you released the same news. by the time mason walked through the door you were out of the bath, smothering yourself in lotion and you and Rebecca had calculated a secret pregnancy plan. 

"hey babe I home" you heard mason call, you came running down the hallway all oily in your red Victoria set and quickly picked up Ellis giving him the biggest cuddle, he clearly didn't  appreciate as he immediately starts squirming so you placed him down in the bassinet by the floor to ceiling window in the living room. you turned to enter the kitchen and start making him a bottle when mason sneaked up behind you  and wrapped his arms around you waist, you just pretended he wasnt there and carried on scooping out the formula into the bottle, when started sucking on your neck leaving a little purple mark there. you sneaked around around him to put the bottle onto the prep machine when he pushed you up onto the counter standing between your legs.  before anything else could happen the bottle machine signalled it was done, so mason slipped away from you screwing the top on the bottle and walking into the living room placing it on the side and disappearing into the bed room to change. just as you finished up feeding Ellis he emerging from the room in a fresh pair of joggers with the waistband of his Calvin's sticking out of the top. he picked mason up from off of you and placed him down in the bouncer, "bens on his way so you might want to put some clothes on baby". you stood up and walked into the room, looking through your wardrobe for something to sit in whilst you did your hair and makeup. then you noticed masons white t-shirt sitting on a pile in near the door so u pulled that on and brought your stuff into the room mason and Ellis were sat in. you  started doing your makeup and everyone started turning up and pre drinks started, luckily your dad and mum get there just in time so u and Rebecca could sneak of and chat to them and avoid the drinks.

as you arrived to the club, you and Rebecca quickly ran to the toilet to avoid ordering drinks, eventually you come back and everyone is nestled into the back of the club with there drinks so u walk straight over to the bar and ordered a 'vodka' and coke. as the night went on the pretending got a lot harder and harder but as the rest of the group got more and more drunk you had to pretend less and less. by 12:30 you were sat in the back of a car with masons head on your shoulder as he was slurring his words, it was easy to mask the drunk sickness with the awful pregnancy sickness, you were about 7 minutes down the road but the dizziness and the horrible sickness set in. the mason looked up and randomly said, "stell I'm so grateful for you, at first you not wanting to have another baby really upset but ive been thinking about it and I just dont think I want one at all I mean look at our careers and our house and our cars, we wouldn't have this". in that moment you were unsure whether it was the stabbing pain in your stomach the fact mason just told you he didn't want the thing growing inside off your body but the tears started rolling. 

the taxi pulled into your driveway and your dads car wasnt there which meant he had taken Ellis back to his house, you walked through the door and mason started to unbutton his shirt, i wasnt until you sat down on the couch and stared at blankly at the wall. he sat down next to you and pulled you into to him sincerely asking what was wrong, between the pain you were in and the way mason was pretending nothing happened, you flew of the handle. "nothing happened mase go to bed in sleeping down here tonight" you said slamming the bathroom door shut. mason said nothing but you heard him sit down against the wall opposite the door. you sat down on the toilet trying to calculate roughly when baby would be here and roughly how many weeks along you were, when you noticed the blood covering your hand from wear you had pulled down your underwear. you started screaming and sobbing falling to the floor resting against the bath, within half a minute mason was through the locked door. he looked down at you and the pool of blood you were sat in. "stella what the fuck, what the fuck has happened", there wasnt anytime to explain in an nice way so you just came out with it and told him, "I'm pregnant mason well atleast I was". everything clicked for mase and he disappeared you could only hear him rushing around the house, he returned after a minute or two with a clean pair of his joggers and one of his tops, assisting you changing whilst calling his sister, luckily she lived the next street over and within 10 minutes she was outside ready to take us to the nearest hospital.

you were sat in the hospital well at least your body was, you felt like a fly on the wall watching mason mull over everything he said and come to terms with the fact he could've been a dad, when the doctor perked up and said "theres two very strong heartbeats there, so were going to run some more tests and keep you overnight to run some tests and monitor them". mason looked at you then your belly then the doctor. "umm excuse me two" the doctor agreed with masons statement "yes, tow very strong heartbeats measuring for 8 week old foetuses but like I said were going have to run more tests to be sure". well that took a turn within 24 hours you've come to terms with the fact your pregnant been heartbroken by the fact your partner might be as happy, come to terms with the fact you may have lost the baby you've only just found out was there, to finding out you were having twins. you just stayed silent attempting to adjust to what was the news when mason placed a kiss on your stomach and moved his mouth right up to the tender skin and whispered "hi baby's, wow that feels weird, I'm your dad well I'm guessing you already know that, but I just hope you two are okay in there, its a bit of a shock to be honest 3 hours ago I was wasted ini club and now I'm here. although I dont think id rather be anywhere else, ive known about you for probably an hour and I already love you to the moon and back" your body eased up knowing no matter what mason loved them and he loved you and that was enough, the panic lifted and all off a sudden you fell in love with the idea of preganacy.
