Chapter 22 - Shooting Range

*Riley's POV*

I woke up around 7 am earlier than normal, because Patricia called me to let me know that we got an email, saying that we wouldn't have our first period, Miss Clark called in sick, and they didn't have a substitute teacher. 

This is such good news, thank you for letting me know Patricia, I said hanging up the call.
I've been wanting to go to the gym, but it's been crazy around here and I haven't been able to go, I guess since I'm awake I could take advantage of the situation, I just need to get dressed and eat something, I can take a shower after the workout and go straight to class.

After I was ready, I got out of my house and went inside my car, I wanted to get as much time in the gym as I could. When I got there, I was pretty much the only person at the gym, but I do like it better that way.
After what happened with the guys who stole my necklace I want to train my fight skills and get better.

I had the best workout session I have ever had, I'm sweating like a pig but it was totally worth it, I need to do this more times, I went to the balneary to have a shower and after that, I got dressed, I was reading to go to school, and even though I was already tired, it felt like a good kinda tired.

While I was driving to school, Miss Adams popped into my head, I was really curious about that man in the school parking lot, and how is he related to her, she was really bothered by his presence, I just wish she would tell me what is going on with her life, maybe I could help, I know she will tell me when she is ready, but damn am I curious!

I got to school just in time for my next class which was Miss Adams's class, I really wanted to see her, I got out of my car and saw Patricia and Jason at the school entrance.

Hi guys how are you feeling I asked getting close to them.

I am really good! I slept more than 10 hours, it felt great! Jason said stretching every muscle in his body. 

I got a lot of work done this morning, it was perfect to finish some things for school. Patrica said looking very proud of herself

You too couldn't be more different but so perfect for each other I said laughing.

Let's go inside? I asked.

Look who is in a hurry to go to class, I guess that has nothing to do with the fact that it's Miss Adams's class right? Jason said winking at me.

More than 10 hours of sleep is not good for you noted! I said laughing and going inside.

Ahaha, you're so funny sometimes he said looking at me and scrunching his nose. 

Let's go inside before Miss Adams closes the door said, Patricia.

We were about to get in when Miss Adams appeared and started to close the door so we started to run to get there on time.

We were so distracted by the door closing in front of us, that we didn't notice the wet floor sign, before I could get out of the way Jason slipped and came crashing onto me at full speed, so guess who had a nice entrance in Miss Adams class.

When I looked up I could see Miss Adams's face looking straight down at me trying not to laugh but failing miserably.

Are you guys okay? Patricia asked almost dying of laughter.

I think so I said groaning and started to get up.

Jason was still on the floor facing the ceiling looking like a crazy person.

Jason, I have a class to teach, I haven't got all day Miss Adams said trying to make Jason get up.

I feel like it's just safer to stay on the floor Jason said.
