EVELINES POV

After I left the hospital room I walked out to find Marcos waiting for me, I knew Massimo was behind me and I had to stop him from following me to my house. I walked up to Marcos and hugged him, when he hugged me I made sure that it looked like we were together.

"What's wrong" Marcos asked

"Massimo" I said and he understood right away

"Come on lets go to your office" he said as he placed his hand around my waist while we walked to my office

Once inside the office, I sat down on my chair as Marcos sat across from me.

"What are you going to do" Marcos asked

"Keep him as far away from me as possible" I said

"You mean as far away as possible from the twins" Marcos sated

"What should I do Marcos, I have been taking care of them all these years by myself and now he is here" I said

"He desirves to know about them Eveline" he said

"I know but I am still hurt" I said

At that moment a nurse came in and said that Mr. Johnson Sr wanted to talk with me, I told her that I would be there before I told Marcos that Mr. Johnson was stable and to please inform Mr. Mendoza about it before I left and started to walk to his room. When I walked in to his room he was by himself, I walked in and closed the door before going up to him.

"Thankyou for coming" Maximo said

"No problem, what did you need" I asked

"The two children that where with you at the restaurant when the shooting started" he starts

"What about them" I asked

"Who are they to you" he asked

"My children" I say

"You have children" a deep voice says from behind me

"Massimo calm down" his father says

"She is my wife" Massimo says

"Ex wife" I say as I turn around to look at him

"Key word Wife my dear" Massimo says

"I have nothing to say to you, Maximo I will let another doctor take over your care" I say

"How old are they" Massimo asked

"If you must know, they are four years old" I say as I walked out of the room leaving them especially Massimos wide eyed

As I was walking to my office an ambulance pulls up and I see Flabio being wheeled in with Rosa next to him, I run and catch up to them while checking him over as he is being taken to the OR. While I was working on him I asked a nurse to go tell the lady that came in with the patient that I would be out to talk to her when I get the patient stable, as the nurse left I started to work on Flabio and trying to get the bullet out of his right shoulder.

When we were done I took my gloves off and the scrubs before walking out to see that everybody was there, when they saw me they all walked up to me with asking questions.

"He is fine, the bullet got stock on his right sholder but we go it out, he will be fine" I said

"Where is he now" Rosa asked

"He is being taken to recovery, they will come and get you when they get him in the room" I said

"Thankyou Eveline, which room is Mr. Johnson in" Roberto asked

"Room 202, why" I asked

"We have been declared war my dear, so I need to talk with him and know what side he is on and if we still have the deal we made before the shooting in play" he said

"Okay, well I am going to head home" I said

"No, I need you to be there too" he said

"Okay" I say

We started to walk to Mr. Johnson's room with the rest of the boys followin us, when we got to the room we all walked in and we found Mr. Johnson with his family and the men that used to follow me around when I was married to Massimo. As everybody looked around everybody was shocked to see me there as well standing next to Roberto, he saw how Massimo was looking towards me and turned to look at me before smiling and looking back at Massimo with a big smile on his face.
