The Birthday Party

MASSIMOS POV

Today is the twins birthday and we have planned a birthday party, they know that Eveline will be here but they also know that they can't call her mamy. It hurts me to see my babies crying at night wanting their mother, I stay with them until they fall asleep after soothing them telling them that she will remember them really soon. We were getting everything done for the party when Manuel said that they were all at the mall getting something for the twins before heading to the Mendoza's house, we didn't want to risk taking her to our house because we didn't want to force memories on her.

After about an hour the party was full blown, the kids were all playing together which made me happy to hear the laughs of my babies. I was with my father and Roberto watching the kids while everybody else were getting the food out, my mother walked up to us and said that the food was ready so we could feed the twins. We called Max and Eve over and took them to a table to eat, when they were almost done both Eve and Max stopped eating while looking towards something in the distance. When we turned around we saw Manuel with everybody else except Eveline, I was about to get up and go ask them where she was when she came from around the conner with two birthday bags in her hand while they walked to where we were.

"Eveline this is my father's friend Maximo, his son Massimo and the birthday kids Max and Eve" Rosa said

"Nice to meet you all, this is for the kids" Eveline said handing my father the gift bags

"How are you feeling Eveline" Roberto asked

"Still a little depressed but everybody has been helping alot" she answered

"What you need is to get out of the house, why don't you all go to a club tonight. Massimo can go with you all, he needs to get out of the house as well" my father said

"I can't leave the twins, I promised that I would spent the day with them" I said

"We can stay with grandpa and grandma" Max and Eve said at the same time

I turned to look at them only to find them with big smiles on their faces, I then looked at everybody else and they all had smiles on their face while Eveline was looking at her phone.

"Well its settled, your mother and I will take the twins home while you go out with everyone else" my father said

"Are you sure that it's okay if I go out with them instead of being with you both today" I asked Max and Eve

"Daddy, just go besides you need to go out as well" Max said

"Eveline you don't mind if Massimo goes with you guys do you" Roberto asked

"Not at all" she said looking at him

"Well we are going to get something to eat, then we will go get ready for the club" Rosa said

"But I'm not dress properly to go to a club and I don't have anything here with me" Eveline said

"Oh, we got something that will fit you perfectly" Lupe said

They walked away and went to get something to eat, when they were sitting down at a table not far from where we were. The twins opened their presents and started screaming which caught everyones attention, when they took out their presents they both had matching shirt and pants. One of the shirts said "Born First" while the other one said "He Beat Me Out," we all laughed at what the shirts said. They then took out some toys and some more pieces of clothing, when they were done looking at everything they ran to where Eveline was and gave her a hug saying thankyou and that they loved their presents. Eveline hugged them back while Rosa took pictures of them, everybody was looking at them while they made funny faces while Rosa kept taking pictures.

When the party ended everybody helped clean up the mess, Eveline helped the twins things up to their rooms. When I was about to throw trash in a trash bag we all heard Susana yell Evelines name which made us all run into the house, when we got inside we headed upstairs and we saw Eveline on the floor while Susana was holding her head on her lap. I picked up Eveline and took her to the room she would stay in when she would stay over at Roberto's house, I placed her on the bed and moved some hair away from her face before walking out of the room closing the door behind me.

"What happend" Roberto asked

"She was helping me get the kids presents in their rooms when she stopped infront of Eve's room, I asked her if she was okay and she said that her head was hurting before she closed her eyes and fell backwards" Susana said

"I will call the doctor" my mother said

When the doctor came to check on Eveline she was already awake, the doctor said that the headach must have been because of how long she was in coma and her brain was trying to recover what ever memory it could. When he said that she would be okay and to just keep an eye on her, I asked if she would be okay to go out to a club since we had already said we were going to go and wanted to make sure that she would be fine to go out which he said that it would be fine as long as she didn't drink alcohol. We started to get ready to go to the club and while the guys and I were ready the girls were taking a long time, Susana and my mother went to see what was taking the girls a long time to come down only to return with big smiles on their faces before walking to us not saying anything.
