Getting Answers

MASSIMOS POV

After I was stopped by Roberto, his son and his goons I had to back off. I walked back to where I had been before trying to go after Eveline, when I got to my father's side Nadika was still in the room. When she tried to get near me, one of my men got infront of me blocking her way.

"Get out of my room" my father tells her

"I will not go any where, my place is here next to Massimo" Nadika says

"You have no place next to him, now get out of my room and don't come near my family ever again or I will put a bullet in your head myself" my father says

"Not if Eveline beats you to it" Marcos says

"I will not leave without Massimo" Nadika says

"Have it your way" Roberto says

He walked up to her and grabbed her by her arm as a few security men came into the room, he handed her over to them with a very serious face.

"Make sure she leaves and never comes back into this hospital or your all fired" Roberto says

"Yes sir" they all answer

As Nadika is being dragged out of the hospital Roberto turns around and looks at me before turning to look at my father, he walked up to his bed and they stared at each other.

"Lets me in one week, let me and my family get used to knowing that the girl we thought was just my childrens friend is really my lost daughter" Roberto said

"We will see you at your house in one week" my father answered

"See you then old friend" Roberto answered

After they left, I turned to JV making sure that I had his full attention.

"I want to know everything on the children of my wife, I want to know everything she has done and who has been around her and the children all these years" I said

"Yes sir" JV answered as he walked out of the room

"What are you thinking of doing" my father asked

"Trying to find out why Eveline gave her children the names we chose for our children" I said

One Week Later

I was in my office when there was a knock door, I called out to who ever was at the door to come in. I heard the door of my office open then close, I looked up to see that it was JV who had a vanilla folder in his hands.

"What you find out" I asked

"This is everything that I found on Eveline Ortiz Mendoza, just a heads up sir its not good" JV said

"What do you mean" I asked

"She was found as a baby in a trash can, was adopted by a loving couple until they died during a car accident when she was in her teens. The Mendoza's took her in after that and helped her through college where she met you and then married you, from there on there is nothing on either her or the children" JV said

"Who has been around her and her children" I asked as I looked through the folder

"Only a hand full of people, the Mendoza's being one of them. The rest are the Mendoza's men, she has been working at the hospital where your father was as the head doctor and has her own home" JV answered

"Thankyou, try and find out anything on the kids" I said

"Yes sir" he answered before leaving my office

I kept looking through the papers that JV until I heard the door of my office which made me look up, infront of me is my father looking at me like I have grown two heads.

"Your not ready yet" he asked me

"Ready for what" I asked

"We were supposed to be at Roberto's house in one hour" he said

"Shit, I forgot" I said

I got up and headed out of my office towards my room, once there I took a shower and changed into one of my buisness suites. I still wore my wedding ring, for some reason I just can't bring myself to take it off. Once I was done changing I went to my night stand and took out the necklace where I have Eveline's rings and placed it around my neck before placing it in my dress shirt, I walked out of my room and down the stairs towards the front door where my father was talking to the men that were going to go with us.

We got in the cars and we made our way towards the Mendoza's family home, I just hope that Eveline is there to try and talk with her regarding her children. I jsut want to know who their father is, if they are mine why didn't she tell me. Well that question I can answer it myself since it was shown to me, if they are mine I want to be part of their lives. I already lost four years of their lives, I will not allow any more time to pass without being involved in their lives.
