I dreamt that I got married last night.

One moment, I was dancing and celebrating Bucky's last night before he shipped off. The next moment we were getting married and spent the night in my bed.

And what a beautiful dream it was...

And I really didn't want to get out of bed this morning.

Bucky kissed me on the cheek, moving slowly and carefully not to startle me awake, giving me a few more moments of peace before we had to hurry to the bus station.

"Good morning, Misses Barnes," he whispered, kissing my face again.

I grumbled, frowning as my sweet dream had ended, and I was now forced to cope with reality.

Did he just say misses?

Am I still dreaming? I must be.

I blinked a few times, my vision clearing up as I witnessed a very naked Bucky Barnes getting dressed in front of me.

"Did you stay the night again?" I asked through a yawn.

"Of course I did," he said without any conviction.

I knew we got in late, but I didn't think it was that late.

"I had the most unusual dream last night," I said, not moving as I watched him put his uniform on.

"What did you dream about?" He asked me.

"I dreamt that we got married," I sat up from bed, looking down and realizing that I was still naked.

Okay, maybe last night wasn't a dream.

Bucky looked at me curiously, pulling his tie over his head and adjusting it.

He was waiting for me to figure it out.

"We got married last night?" I looked at him, wide-eyed and now fully alert and awake.

"We did," he said to me, kissing my head before standing in front of the mirror, giving himself a once-over and checking to ensure he was appropriate.

"We got married last night," I repeated out loud.

Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God!

I ran into the bathroom, slamming the door behind me as I stared at my naked reflection in the mirror. I had to splash cold water on my face to reassure myself that this was no longer a dream.

We did get married last night.

"Oh my god," I whispered to my reflection, staring at the woman with unkempt hair and smudged makeup. I didn't have time to fix much of it, so I washed my face, brushed my teeth with a furious quickness, and smoothed out the curls of my hair, putting it into a low ponytail and keeping it out of my face.

It was the best that I would be able to do with such little time.

I grabbed my bathrobe, wrapping it around me as I exited the bathroom, looking up to see my handsome soldier- my husband- staring at me with an adoring look in his eyes.

"Hi," he said, giving me a small wave.

"Hi," I waved back, looking him up and down, admiring how well he pulled off wearing his uniform.

"You okay?" He asked me, concern laced in his voice.

"No," I answered honestly. "Are you?"

"No," he shook his head, looking down at the ground. "Now, I really don't want to leave."
