[Her smile is the most beautiful curve on a woman's body]

Fallon stretched out in bed, feeling extremely cautious knowing that the other two were a mere few metres away from her room. Even after a week or so here, she still felt severely unwelcomed. However, she had given into the fact that these people weren't going to hurt her and that she had to stay here for she had no other place to go.
As if sensing Fallon's opened eyes, an abrupt knock on the door caused Fallon to curl up in the blankets again and tense as Calbee appeared at the door, "Hey, Fallon!"
A silence followed, which Fallon took to mean she was meant to carry the conversation onwards, "Oh... Hi, Calbee," she managed, her tone uneven.
She had gradually grown accustomed to living with two roommates and yet paying no rent or money to buy food and necessities. Of course, she was far from comfortable with it, but knew she had no money to help. The only problem was Asher; although Fallon had grown slightly closer to Calbee, Asher seemed to be a lost cause, constantly complaining about her not paying the rent or just about her presence at times. Nevertheless, Calbee was always there to help her out - for that, she was eternally grateful.
Calbee smiled so brightly that her eyes creased up, "Call me Callie, Calbee just reminds me of how poorly I was named," she jokes, scratching the back of her head and Fallon nodded and blinked at her cluelessly.
"Oh, that's right, I came to give you these," she passed a stack of clothes to Fallon, "and to tell you that after school today, we're going shopping so I can get you some stuff. So come out for breakfast now!"
Instantly, Fallon shook her head so fast that her hair flew out in all directions like a fan: money was the one area she could speak up about, "N-no, please don't spend money on me, I'd feel terrible. You're still in school, you need this money to save up for university and your future, please don't spend it on me, I'll get a job instead!" she gushed out like blood from a wound, her eyes pleading.
As much as she did not want to get a job, she would much rather earn her own money than leech off of others. It was not fair on them. But relentless, Calbee gave her a warning look, "Please, Fallon, I promise I won't spend much, and hey, if it makes you feel better I'll make Asher and Sky come too so we all spend a little bit on you instead of me spending a lot."
Fallon's eyes widened dramatically as she scrambled to her feet, "Why would that make me feel better?!" she exclaimed, throwing her hands up in the air before realising her outburst and quickly seating herself, "Sorry," she mumbled.
Calbee giggled, "No, it's good you're finally getting a voice around this place, I won't always be here to slap Asher around his pretty little face," she mused, smiling at Fallon as she always did.
Gosh, how could one girl be so darn happy? Fallon though to herself, utterly confused. But instead of showing that emotion, she simply nodded.
"I... I'll come out soon," she replied, fiddling with the hem of the shirt Calbee had given her.
Satisfied, Calbee nodded.
Dressed in an light, flowing shirt with a white long-sleeve underneath, Fallon exited 'her' room, dragging her denim short-clad legs behind her as her gaze dropped to the ground, "Morning," she mumbled as she felt her roomates' gaze on her.
"Morning, Fallon, you look great! Sorry if you aren't comfortable in shorts, but it is a really hot day today, so blame the bipolar weather. I can get you a long drape cover thing if you want?"
Fallon nodded gratefully, silently waiting as she exited the room and Asher was left with her. The air was thick around them, making her feel impossibly suffocated. She couldn't bear the wait it took for Calbee to find the 'long drape cover thing'.
