[I'm not drunk - I'm still drinking]

Soon, the trio were seated in a taxi and Calbee had repeated the address of the party to the driver. Fallon had fidgeted the whole way, trying to reposition her dress in a way that didn't show off so much skin.

Once they arrived, she was glued to her seat and refused to get up. The roaring music pounded in her ears already and the cheers and screams coming from the house were dizzying. The lights of the garden were switched on and emmitted a bold, yellow light, illuminating the scene going on beyond the navy-blue door.

From what Fallon could see, this party was not a place she wanted to be at.

"Get her, Asher," Calbee sighed, getting out the taxi after paying the driver, "I'm going to find Chris."

Asher reached in and picked Fallon up as if she weighed nothing, starting to bring her in as she pushed against his chest for him to let her down, "I'll walk, I'll walk!" she snapped, teeth gritted as he let her down and held her hand, leading her into the party.

"Stay around me, you'll be okay," he whisper-yelled in her ear over the thumping music that only intensified as they walked in.

They watched Calbee get swallowed by the crowd of grinding teenagers as she spotted Chris.

"Hey, Fallon! You made it!" Aera's voice came from behind them as Fallon turned and smiled meekly.

Aera grinned wider at her dress, "Wow, I love that dress. If you pass out and I find you, don't be surprised if you wake with my dress instead," she gestured down to her ruby-red dress that hugged her curves ever-so-slightly and had beautiful lacey patterns decorating the front.

Aera waved goodbye as she went to talked to some of the other girls that Fallon recognised from the gym.

"Are you alright?" Asher asked her, keeping a hand around her waist and keeping her pressed against him protectively.

She nodded as he glanced at his watch, "It's seven right now, we can leave in an hour or two. Calbee will be fine with Chris and might end up going back with him, so don't worry about her."

Again, Fallon nodded, watching as he grabbed an unopened bottle of water and handed it to her, kissing her cheek, "I'm going to go speak to Casper for a little bit, I'll be right back. Stay here, okay?"

She nodded, nervously staying by herself as she watched the thriving party continue. A 'little bit' soon turned into half an hour as Fallon kept her word and stayed in her spot, soon sitting down on an unoccupied sofa that was nearby due to the ache in her legs. Half an hour of standing and she was already longing to go back home.

"Hi," someone greeted to her left as she flitted her gaze to the handsome guy standing by the staircase.

He made his way down and sat down next to her with a charming smile, "Jon," he said.

She seemed slighty clueless as she waved awkwardly despite the short gap between them, "Daniel."

"You name's Daniel?" he quirked an eyebrow with a humoured smile on his face.

"Huh? Oh, no, I thought we were just saying random names."

He chuckled and held out a hand, "I'll be clearer then. Hello, my name is Jon."

With a hesitant laugh, she shook it, "And I'm Fallon. Nice to meet you."

"What's a gorgeous girl like you doing all by herself?" he asked, chastely running a hand through his silken hair.

She blurted it before she could stop herself, "Your hair looks really soft."

Shaking his head with a small laugh, Jon bowed his head a little, "Wanna touch?"
