[When life puts you through tough situations, don't say 'why me?', say 'try me!']
-Unknown"Hey! I'm Calbee."
It was the next day and Fallon had invited Aera over to meet Calbee after realising that they hadn't properly met yet. Asher stood behind Fallon, hands drawing circles on her hip as she smiled in greeting at her friend.
"Aera," Aera smiled brightly, returning Calbee's handshake as they walked further into the apartment.
Calbee wandered into the kitchen and reemerged with a box of pizza, "You hungry?" she asked, sitting down on the couch with the pizza on the table, "I just ordered this before you guys came. I was planning to eat all myself but I guess I'm going to have to share now."
She sighed dramatically as Fallon sat down next to her and punched her arm, taking a slice and biting into it as Asher nudged her. She went to grab another slice for him but he took the chance to steal hers and chomped out a huge bite, leaning his head on her shoulder innocently.
"They're so cute together," Calbee whispered to Aera as she watched them like a hawk, cooing as Asher kissed the side of her neck.
"Apparently they aren't dating," Aera replied in a hushed tone, just as disblieving as Calbee who scoffed and rolled her eyes, "They are but it's not official. He doesn't have the balls to ask her out."
"I'll have you know that I do actually have fully-functioning balls," Asher piped up, overhearing their conversation as Aera nibbled on a slice of cheesy pizza and Fallon preoccupied herself with her half-eaten food with a heated face.
Calbee giggled and almost choked on a bite, only recovering as Aera thumped her on the back, "Yeah, yeah," she coughed out as Aera laughed at her, "Maybe you should do something with them."
"Calbee!" Fallon gaped, almost dropping her pizza as Calbee smirked triumphantly.
"Just sayin'," she shrugged not-so-innocently as she sipped her water, amusement clear in her eyes.
"So what do you wanna do today?" Asher asked to distract her, a centimetre from her ear as he hugged her from behind and ignored Aera squeal of delight.
Fallon raised and dropped her shoulder unknowingly, "Ice cream," she summed up, "CandyLand ice cream."
"Thank you for that clarification."
"Your welcome."
Asher rolled his eyes, "Seriously though, we have a whole day to do nothing."
School had been cancelled due to a bank holiday so he wasn't lying when he said that they had the whole day. Fallon chewed her lip in thought, squinting her eyes as if that would help her realise what she wanted to do, "Can we go watch a movie?" she asked, knowing that the last time they had gone had been a disaster, "I heard that the new Star Wars movie came out."
She needed an excuse to eat popcorn, even if it meant sitting through a super long movie that she had no interest in. To be honest, she hadn't even seen the first Star Wars movie. Or Star Trek. Wait, what was the difference again? All she knew was that people often did impressions of some character who sounded like a dying whale.
Asher scrunched up his nose in thought, "Can we just watch something at home? I'm too lazy to go out today."
She shrugged, "Okay, it's comfier anyways."
Fallon glanced over at Calbee and Aera who were snickering about something.
"S-she really didn't know what th-that meant?!" Calbee managed out between guffaws as Aera shook her head, eyes brimming with tears of laughter.
