Chapter 34

Rithika's pov:
We were drinking coffee sitting on the sofa. Rahul and Rishi came to home in the early morning so they are sleeping now.

After few minutes, Rahul came and sat beside me. Shreya stood and went to the kitchen. She came with a coffee mug and gave it to him. He smiled at her and then glared at me.

Rishi too joined us and they both were discussing about some hospital stuff. I thought to tell them.

"Rishi, your wife pulled a stunt yesterday" I said boldly while Shreya look scared.

"What?" he asked me.

"She said she was bleeding and she cried thinking that it was abortion" I said. Rahul smiled at her. Rishi was sitting beside her and holding her hands.

"Then I called you both but you didn't picked up so I called the hospital for Lee appointment. They said she was also with you and I enquired about other gyn and took appointment with Dr.Ranjit Prasad and took her to the hospital" I said continuously while they looked at me in shock.

"Shreya, don't you know bleeding is normal in pregnancy? You could have waited for us at least right?" Rahul asked me.

"No, actually she spotted more than 7 drops of blood that completely freaked her out. She cried miserably so I took her without thinking much" I said. Rishi rubbed her hands.

"What he said?" Rishi asked this time.

"He did vaginal exam and said..... " Rahul stood up immediately.

"What?" They both said in unison. Shreya gulped in fear. I didn't expect this outburst from Rahul.

"What? He said he can't say much with ultrasound so he did. He said she have some bacterial infection and gave her two injections" I said boldly without shrugging it off.

"Are you mad Rithika? Why does she even need vaginal exam now? Shreya, are you also not in your senses?" Rahul shouted at me and then asked her.

"What is wrong in that?" I shout back at him. He sighed whereas Rishi was silent completely.

"You can't go for vaginal exam with some random doctor. You know about Shreya well, she is super sensitive and you took her to a male doctor. How she have felt comfortable? Some people even get panic attack while those exams." he yelled again.

"I enquired about him well beforehand. You both were not picking my call leaving us with no other option. Further, then why did you appointed a male gyn in your hospital? So you don't feel for any other patients who are same like Shreya? You only care for us right?" I asked him in the same tone.

I couldn't find anything wrong in my actions. He glared at me.

"Rahul, calm down. It's fine. She is okay now, leave it" Rishi said stopping him from further arguments. She hugged Shreya sidely and sat there rubbing her.

"Shreya, how do you feel now? Are you okay? If you are not comfortable with anything, just talk with your husband. It will relieve you" Rahul said sitting beside her.

"I'm fine bro. It's still paining, that's it. I can't able to walk properly" She replied.

"It will be sore for few days then it will be fine, don't worry" Rishi said kissing her forehead. Awwww! What a couple! Mine only knows to glare at me.

After few minutes, Rahul looked at his watch and stood up.

"Get ready, you have your monthly checkup today" He said to me shocking the hell out of me. Rishi chuckled at me.

"Rishi, this is over. I think he is playing with me" I whined at him.

"No, he booked appointment with Lee already" he said smiling all the way. I sighed and I'm scared to the core. She won't leave me without injections.
