Chapter 13

Rithika's pov:
A week passed finally making me relieved. Though I felt horrible, I really like to be here for few days with all the new attention and care.

I never experienced this care from anyone except Shreya but these peoples made me weak by showing their love and care which I don't even know whether I deserve this or not.

Rishi almost spend his full day in my room leaving his other works behind. Few times, Rahul have to drag him from us. He is the entertaining one always. Without him, this week would have been hell for me.

Rahul always fills the gap when they both go for eating. He was so nice to me everytime. He actually cared more than anyone and act as strict if I refuse something. He took me for walk in the evening.

Today is my discharge day and Shreya already packed all her dress. I bathed and changed my clothes. We are waiting for Rahul and Rishi for his conformation.

They both came inside after few minutes. Shreya stood from the bed after seeing them but I sat looking at them.

"Okay fine, all the procedures are completed. You can go from this hell now" Rahul said making me chuckle.

"But I want you to take complete rest for another week and you should visit me this friday for checkup. No work and take your medicines regularly without missing them. Shreya, take care of her" he said like a military officer.

"What if I don't obey anything?" I asked him.

"Nothing, when you come on friday, I will just kill you" he said laughing. I raised my eyebrows.

"Okay, shall we leave?" Rishi asked us. They offered to drop us in our house so we left.

After dropping us, they went back without coming inside. I took rest for the remaining day.

Next morning :

I felt really bored at home. I thought to go for work but all these idiots will oppose me. I need to convince Shreya first.

I convinced her somehow after arguing with her and she tried to inform Rahul but I pulled her phone and asked her to not tell anyone and she obeyed.

She dropped me in the court since she strictly warned me to not drive scooty for few days.

Days passed. Somehow Rahul got to know about my work from Rishi. He will text me everyday to take care. He messaged me that he booked an appointment for me from 10 to 12 in the afternoon. That's when I remembered that it is friday but I have got many works to complete.

At ten, Shreya called me and asked me to get ready but I declined her saying I have work. Rahul too called me continuously but I didn't pick up his call.

After work, I called Shreya to pick me up. She came immediately at six in the evening. She glared at me.

"Why don't you answer him? He is calling me from afternoon" she said politely but I saw the frustration on her eyes.

"Let's go now. Wait, I will inform him" I said and took my phone. I called him and he answered after few rings.

"Where were you madam?" he asked tiredly.

"Sorry, I got few works to be done today itself. Now, shall I come?" I asked him in the same tired tone.

"Too late, I came to home already. Rishi too went home. Come tomorrow" he said.

"What? No, I have to collect evidence from tomorrow so I will be busy for few days" I said to him. I really don't care about my body right now.

"It will take only half an hour. You can come in between your works too" he said annoying.

"No, it will distract me. You get ready and come now. Don't you obey your patient's wish?" I asked him. I heard him sigh.

"Rithika, I am really very tired right now. Do one thing, I will send one location and it's nearer to your home too. I have a clinic so it will be easier for both of us" he said.

I thought for a while and asked him the location. He send me and Shreya drove the bike with my direction. Within few minutes of driving, we reached the place seeing a big gate.

The watchman opened the gate and Shreya drove inside. We saw a big house and he stood there smiling. I got down and went towards him.

"Idiot, why didn't you tell me? You said clinic but you got us to your house" I yelled at him silently.

"See there, it's a clinic. My dad built this to help this area people" he said pointing me a quite big room in the front.

"Hey, welcome darlings, come inside" aunty came and hugged us both. It really felt awkward to enter someone's home after a very long years.
