Chapter 1

I woke up in a room with pure white walls, ceiling, and floor.

Where am I?

I thought as I looked for anything that could indicate where I am.

Did I die? Is this the after life?

Just then I heard a voice, "For your first question, yes, you have died. As for where you are, no, this isn't the after life."

Did my thoughts just get read?

"Yes" the voice spoke.

If I'm not in the afterlife then where am I?

"Well you see, your soul actually escaped purgatory on its own, so out of interest I decided to reincarnate you with a few wishes."

As he said that I got some foggy memories from my time in purgatory.

Ok mister voice, can you tell me anything about the world I'll be going to?

"Hmm, I can't tell you much but what I can tell you is that it's a world of swords and magic where strength reigns supreme."

Ok, also why can't I remember anything from my life and can only remember a few things from purgatory?

"Your memories of your life before you got to purgatory were erased when you escaped purgatory. Any more questions?"

Ya, what is the limit of what I can wish for?

"Just tell me your wishes and I'll tell you if I can fulfill it."

Hmm, first I'd like to be born with the body of a dragon.

"You'll be an infant dragon but it can be done."

Next I'd like the fastest learning speed you can give me.

"I can give you about 10 time the speed of the fastest learner in the world I'm sending you to."

And, finally I'd like my heart to produce the energy that was used by the Sentinels in purgatory.

"You mean darkness, it's possible but you're going to have to learn how to control it."

Ok, is there anything else I should know?

"No, I think we've covered everything, if that's all I'll be sending you off." As he said that the white room I was in went black and I lost consciousness.

After finally escaping Agrona I flew to Dicathen with both of my children sealed in their eggs.

My thoughts were cut off as a pillar of black fire shot past me, forcing me to dodge out of the way, and in the process I ended up dropping one of the eggs.

Shit!

I looked back to see if the scythe chasing me noticed, but he seemed too preoccupied trying to keep up with my speed to notice the egg.

Damn, if I chase after the egg now he'll probably catch me, but I could send part of my Will to guard him until he hatches and then have it assimilate with him.

That was my last thought before using Static Void, and breaking off part of my will and sending it after him.

Live a good life my child and I'm sorry for not being there for you.

I thought before I escaped the scythe and hid.

Time Skip one month

3rd pov

Somewhere deep inside the Beast Glades a small egg started to pulse, and released a dark energy, the energy itself seemed to steal the life force from everything around it to nurture the egg. And after draining all the life from the plants around the egg it started stealing the life of any mana beasts nearby and started to form a small zone around the egg that contained an astronomical amount of mana.

And then, as if the calm before the storm, everything stood still. Even the rampant dark energy calmed down, it was as if the world itself was stopped in that moment... then all the energy was sucked into the egg as it started to greedly absorb it. It formed a black whole that devoured not only the energy around it but also the earth surrounding it. It sucked them all in and started to form a black shell, the water, earth, and air were all decomposed and then remade into new substances that took their place in the shell.

Then, when the power was done compressing the shell pulsed, the pulse released a wave of energy that seemed even more destructive than the initial absorption. The wave itself was made up of the black energy that not only destroyed the already existing environment but also remade it into one that could only be described in one word... HELL.

The previous lush plant life was replaced by dark purple plants that seemed alive, the ground was now cracked with pits of lava flowing from under the ground, and corpses of the mana beast started to absorb the energy turning them into Demons.

And as this all happened the black shell began to crack, the cracks spiderwebbed around the entire shell before it finally fell apart revealing a boy who looked no older than three. The shards of the shell came together to form a black t-shirt and pants that covered the boy, he had pitch black hair and pale skin. The boy then opened his eyes to reveal golden irises with vertical slits that seemed both intelligent and oppressive.

Mc pov

As I opened my eyes I saw that I was in a place that closely resembled purgatory, the only difference was the lack of souls and sentinels.

Did I cause this?

I thought as I looked at the landscape covered with lava, corrupted plants, and demons. And as I was inspecting them, they looked at me as if questioning what I am. Then as if planned ahead they all kneel to me and even the plants seemed to arch forwards.

So a world of swords and magic where strength reigns supreme... it seems this is going to be interesting... well why not let the games begin.
