Time skip 1 year 8 months (Mc just turned 7 and Varay's 6)

It's been 4 years since I came to this world and 2 years since I met Varay. Over the course of the past two years me and Varay have become almost inseparable, we ended up doing almost everything together. One of the reasons for this is because Varay seems to have developed some sort of separation anxiety, and doesn't like being too far away from me. The other reason is because we've both reached a skill level where the only other person we can have an actual spar with, is each other. It was through our countless spars that I learned that Varay is a monster when it comes to swordsmanship, she would completely overwhelm any human who'd enter our domain and often do it without using mana.

Currently I'm standing in front of a small army of humans led by a white core mage. I'm in my dragon form as it's more intimidating and Varay is sitting on top of my head in an adult human form.

What a royal pain in the ass...

I thought as I looked at the white core mage, the man seemed to be about 40 and radiated enough arrogance to make it seem palpable.

"What do you want, human?"

I said as I injected antiaether into my voice to make it more intimidating.

"I am Jason Wykes, a commander of Sapin as well as a white core mage. We have been sent here by the King to investigate the cause of this hell field which appeared recently, and to either eliminate it or subdue it."

As those words left his mouth, Varay, who was on my head, released enough killing intent to bring everyone one but me and the white core to their knees.

"What did you just say?"

She asked in a cold, almost chilling voice, as her killing intent kept increasing to the point where the white core was almost kneeling and I had to consciously counter it with my own intent.

"Var, calm down."

I said in a calm voice bringing her back to her senses as she released her killing intent. Although she released her killing intent over half of this supposit 'Elite Army' was already unconscious and the other half was trying to escape.

"Are you going to leave now, human?"

"No, I have been given a mission and I plan to see it through."

I just sighed before starting to collect aether and antiaether in my mouth.

Well at least I can try out a new skill of mine.

I thought as I compressed both energies into a ball inside my mouth. And as if sensing his impending demise he started frantically waving his hands saying.

"Wait, we could solve this without out violence! I could set up a meeting between you and the king so you can reach an agreement!"

Since I already readied my magic I couldn't stop it and decided to just fire it at a nearby mountain. I turned my head and released the ray of black and purple energy into the mountain, as I did I was met with silence instead of the expected explosion. As the dust cleared I saw that the mountain was erased and replaced by a forest.

So it erases and recreates... cool.

I then turned back to the general guy only to see him shriveling up in fear.

"You have 3 hours to set up a meeting before I kill you."

I said as I walked back to my house to grab some food.

Note to self, fusing aether and antiaether is tiring.

I thought before changing back into my human form and grabbing some food. However all of the sudden my instincts kicked in telling me that I was in danger as I heard a voice behind me.

"Hey Luci, what did I say about experimenting with things that could kill you?"

I slowly turned around to see an angry Varay.

Welp I'm fucked.

3 hours later

After 3 hours I was told that I was invited to the capital of Sapin to discuss a treaty with the king. I just sighed, thinking about how much of a pain this is going to be as the general guy stopped talking into a scroll and said.

"Would you like us to escort you there or are you planning on flying?"

In response I just turned into my adult human form without my horns and asked him.

"Which direction is the meeting place and how far in that direction is it?"

He looked confused but answered non the less.

"It's about 7,000 kilometres west, in a city called Xyrus."

"Ok do you have anything that could prove our identity?"

"Yes I have a medallion with the royal family's crest on me."

"Ok give it to me and tell your king that I'll arrive there in about an hour."

He looked unconvinced but gave me the medallion nonetheless. After receiving it I turned to Varay.

"Ok Var, hold tight."

I said as I wrapped my arm around her and activated relmheart. The golden runes on my skin glowed before I vanished from my place and reappeared a few kilometres away. I just sighed thinking about how I only had about 2,000 blinks left before I reach Xyrus.

This is why I hate traveling.

Ok, sorry for the late update I had to go to a party. Also I'm planning about one or two more major time skips before the main story starts.

If you find any errors just point them out and I'll fix them.

That's all for now.
