We made it!
*cue lots of excited screaming tomorrow morning because I'm way too tired to scream now*
This was such a fun project! I wasn't sure I was going to finish this in time for... well, pretty much the entire project! I started out strong in round one, I struggled deeply in round two, and I'm downright amazed I made it through this round and wrapped up the novella. It is very early morning on the thirtieth right now, so I'm definitely cutting it close! I'm really grateful to all readers who have taken a chance on this story but especially to those who have taken the time to vote and comment. You guys are the best. I'm slightly amazed if you got this far into the book and this lengthy author's note. In thanks, I award you more acorns than Jaxon could ever want and I'll put in a good word for you with the werechipmunks; I hear they get a little murderous when they're hungry!
If you're feeling extra bored and happen to have enjoyed this book, I suppose you could go check out the other werewolf book I wrote (that's actually, you know, not a parody. Or really that funny. And you might not like it because the ending's kinda rushed and the content isn't that great, but there are a lot of cute corgi pictures, so it can't be all bad?) I've also got some stuff that I'm working on outside of Wattpad as well, and I'll send out somewhat entertaining announcements about that and the links will eventually find their way to my profile. It'll be fun!
I think that's just about it! I'm sad to be hitting complete. It's been really fun to go on this journey with you and to see people's reactions to these characters. I think I've gotten into the habit of pushing off finishing a book until the absolute last second, so I always end up writing these author's notes late at night. My spelling is atrocious right now. Spell check is the only thing keeping this author's note legible.
