Untrue, untrue
You, you, you"Say, you have this friend, and she or he told you a really big secret that he or she have been keeping from you, would you be happy?" Jaemin started, fanning himself with his hands since he forgot to pay for electric bills for his apartment where he lives alone.
"Well... Depends." Mark answered, doing the same as Jaemin.
"Depends? On what?" Jaemin asked again, now a little nervous.
Fanning themselves with their hands doesn't do a single shit to cool themselves from the fucking heat, so he stopped. It's just tiring his hands.
"Depends on how long they kept it. And what kind of secret it is. For example," Mark stopped what he is doing, and stared at Jaemin.
"...you've kept a secret from me for soooo long. Then I'll be mad. Why? What are friends for when you did kept something from them, right?" he said. He was actually about to continue, when Jaemin interrupted.
"Wrong." he answered. Mark raised his left eyebrow, urging Jaemin to continue.
"That's wrong. Friends doesn't really need to know everything about his or her friends because--"
"Now that is not right. As I am saying, what are friends for? Do you know what they are made for? For you to share your problems, not only ups, but also downs. And of course, the secret. Well yeah you are right, not every little secret should be talked out to a friend, but atleast give them--"
"An idea?" Jaemin asked. No, he is not mad. Just a little frustrated. A little.
"That sounds ridiculous, isn't it? What kind? Say I kept a secret from you, then you wanna know what, but I refused. The secret is that, I was the one who stole your laptop, I'll give you an idea like? Like 'hey uh, I stole something', or 'something important is missing from you, right?' that doesn't make any sense." To be honest, Jaemin wants to laugh at their crap. They are arguing over what, secrets untold?
"What's the point then? This is a little stupid, don't you think?" Mark said, chuckling at their stupidity.
"It really is, but... Here, what if the secret he or she kept from you involves you?" Jaemim asked again. Really, what's the point of all this?
"I'm kinda lost. Involves me? How so? Stole from me? Hurt me in the past that I didn't know? Like those?" He asked, and Jaemin nodded in confirmation.
"Uh, let me think... That should be said, right? They are obligated to tell me. It involved myself, so in mh opinion, they should tell me. They NEED to tell me. And... I might say, if those secrets untold involved me, plus, they kept it from me for so long. I would definitely be pissed." he said. Jaemin didn't know why he suddenly felt scared.
No one said a word after that.
Then there is a laugh.
Jaemin confusingly looked at the boy beside him.
"You're asking me this because...? Don't tell me you're--"
"Yes." Jaemin wanted to die on the spot. Why would he tell the truth?
"Yes? What?" Now Mark is more interested.
"Y-yes I kept something from you..." Jaemin said. He don't wanna do this but his mind yelled 'fuck it.'
"You did?" Mark asked, shocked. He thought everything they had have been shared already from before, but no. Jaemin still had something unfold.
"Are you gonna lash out on me when I told you?" Jaemin nervously asked.
Mark didn't have a heart to get nor stay mad at him, so he shook his head no. No, he can never be mad at him.
Jaemin sighed.
Here goes nothin'
"It's a prank. It's actually just a joke." he said, then laughed.
Mark believed him, and laughed along with him.
No, not yet. Jaemin is still not ready.
