~Cassie's POV~

"You guys felt it too, right?! When we touched Violet...", Diana said, completely overreacting. "You mean that little shock? It can't really mean anything, can it? I mean we already have a full circle... and we are bound so...", I said as Adam nodded. Faye sighed, "You all can figure this out. I have better things to do.", she said as she left and Melissa followed after her. Nick just sat there amused. "Aren't you going to say anything?", I said looking at Nick. He shrugged and sat up, "why not just get close with her. I mean she is new to this town. Her only real friend is Adam." "That's not a terrible idea.", I said as Nick smirked. Adam shook his head, "No! We can't just play her like that! She's my best friend. I've known her since we were kids. Let me handle this." Nick laughed, "she's not going to tell you anything. I mean I wouldn't." "Oh don't act like the jealous boyfriend, Nick.", Adam said rolling his eyes. Nick glared at him, "I don't do 'jealous boyfriend'. That would cause me to actually care." These two are so annoying. "Alright. That's enough... both of you. Adam you try and figure out what that feeling was and the rest of us will see if we can find anything in the books.", Diana said as we all nodded, except for Nick. He just rolled his eyes and left. Violet is something else. Somehow, someway, she is connected to us and we are going to figure out how...

~Violet's POV~

"Violet?", my aunt spoke breaking my train of thought. "I'm coming.", I said as I got up from the kitchen chair and walked into the hallway. "You have a visitor.", my aunt said as she moved aside the opened door revealing Nick. I internally rolled my eyes. "I'll be right back.", I said as I walked outside and shut the door behind me. I looked at Nick and smiled, "what do you want?" "I've come to walk you to school" I laughed, "not a chance. Go walk one of your other play things to school." "Mmmm... point taken.", he smirked as he walked away, but then stopped and turned around staring at me. I rolled my eyes, "goodbye Nick." He smiled and left. I walked back inside the house. "You know he lost both of his parents about sixteen years ago. He has an older brother named Jake, but he left town a couple years ago. He's all alone. You should try and talk to him, get to know him. Plus he's cute.", my aunt said as I looked at her. I laughed, "he only wants one thing and I'm not interested." She sighed, "Well you should probably get going or you're going to be let for school." I nodded and grabbed my bag. "See you later, Aunt Ninko.", I said as I left.

~After school (Violet's POV)~

I decided to head to the woods. It's always peaceful and I needed time to clear my head from everything. While I was walking through the woods I heard a gunshot and by instinct I ran towards it. When I got there the only thing I saw was a wolf laying on the floor. It must've been shot on its side because its side was bloody. I ran up to it. It was unable to move and I was right it had a bullet hole in its side. I kneeled down beside it. The bullet was still inside of it. I looked into the wolf's eyes. It was scared and in pain. It didn't want to die. It was begging me for help. I smiled, "it's going to be ok... I promise I'm not going to let you die." I dug my fingers into the bullet hole, searching for the bullet. I couldn't feel it anywhere. It must be deep. I took my fingers out. My hand hovered over the hole. I closed my eyes and focused on the bullet. I could visualize it. The bullet pierced its lung. I imagined pulling the bullet out and it slowly started coming. As soon as the bullet started to move blood came gushing out. If I wanted to save this wolf I would have to do it fast. The only problem is I don't know if I can move fast enough to save it. I stopped moving the bullet which stopped the bleeding. There had to be some other way. I heard a branch break. I hurried and stood up. "Alright... whoever you are... you need to come out right now! You do not want to mess with me!", I hissed. I didn't know who or what it was, but I was ready to set it on fire. A male figure stepped out. It was Nick. He had his arms in the air jokingly, "don't shoot!" I rolled my eyes as he laughed. "What are you doing here?", I asked as he shrugged. "Could ask you the same thing, but I'd rather just get to the point. I can help you save the wolf.", he said as I stared at him. I tried to play it off like I just wasn't doing magic, "we can't save it. It needs a vet." He laughed, "I know you are a witch. I watched you trying to save it on your own... using magic." "Fine. You can help. You heal it, while I take the bullet out.", I said as he nodded. We both walked over to the wolf and kneeled down beside it. I held his one hand and our other hovered over the wound. As soon as I started to move the bullet again he started healing it. Our magic fused together. It felt amazing. It was like something I've never felt before. I didn't quite understand it. It was so addictive Within seconds I had the bullet out and the wound was healed. The wolf stood up and backed away from us. It stared me directly in the eyes like it was thanking me. I nodded and it took off. Nick and I both stood up. I smiled at him, "I guess I owe you one, Nick." "I guess you do.", he said as he started walking away. "You're a witch too, aren't you?", I asked as he turned around and stared me directly in the eyes. "I am..."
