~Violet's POV~
I laid in my bed, staring at the ceiling. I hadn't slept much. All I could think about was how I was leaving town. Leaving my aunt, my friends. How I was leaving Nick. This was my last day with him and it was prom night. Who knows why my school has a prom on a Sunday, but oh well. I kind of lucked out I guess. The only problem with suddenly leaving is that they'll come looking for me, especially Nick. I sighed as I got out of bed and grabbed a quick shower. Then I headed to the old boat, where the accident happened, to find Sébastien. When I got there it was quiet at first. "Sébastien, we need to talk.", I said and within seconds I heard footsteps. I turned around and Sébastien was leaning on the doorway staring at me. "Backing out already? What a shame...", he said shaking his head. "Um yeah no... but I do need a favor.", I said as he smiled. "What is it?", he asked as I sighed. I looked at him, "seeing you're a very powerful witch I figured you would have some sort of spell that could erase someone's memory or at least manipulate it without any consequences." He smiled, "yes. I have spells that will do both of those. Which one do you need?" "I need both.", I simply stated. "Looking to erase Nick's mind? Naughty naughty.", he said as I rolled my eyes. "Not just Nick's... everybody's. Even my aunt's.... it would be best for them all if they never met me and my aunt thought I died with my parents and little sister.", I said as he nodded and gave me the spells. Then I left. I headed straight to Nick's house. I wanted to spend as much time with him as possible. I opened the door and went upstairs into his bedroom. He was still asleep, of course. I rolled my eyes and smiled at him. He looked so cute and peaceful when he is sleeping. I frowned knowing this was probably going to be my last time seeing him. I quietly crawled in bed next to him and he rolled over, putting his arm over my shoulder and pulling my close to him. "I missed you last night.", he mumbled into my ear, sending shivers down my spine. "I know.... I missed you too... I just needed some time to think some things over.", I said as we both sat up. He turned me to face him and smiled. Then he looked at me with a hint of worry in his eyes, "is everything alright?" I was already fighting back tears, but I just couldn't hold them in anymore. I fell into his arms and started bawling my eyes out. He hugged me tightly, "hey... what's wrong? You can always talk to me." I took a deep breath and pulled away. I looked at him and smiled, "I'll be ok... I just want to go to prom tonight with you and be normal for once." He nodded as he got up.
~timeskip (Violet's POV)~
I waited for Nick to get here. I was ready to go to prom knowing this was my last night with him and my friends. I sighed as there was a knock on the door. "I'll get it!", I yelled as I opened the front door revealing a somewhat dressed up Nick. He was wear a shirt looking vest with a leather jacket and black jeans. I smiled at him as he stared at me. "You like my dress?", I said teasingly as I spun around. My dress was black with a dark red design on the top. "You look... absolutely stunning...", he said as I smiled. "We should probably get going, so we can meet Cassie and them up at the school.", I said as he nodded. "See you later, Aunt Ninko!", I yelled as we left. When we arrived Diana ran over to us, "hey guys! Violet, you look absolutely gorgeous." I smiled, "thank you." "Come on!", Diana said as she ran over to everyone is. I looked at Nick as our fingers locked together and we walked over. We all started talking and before we knew it the music changed and people were slow dancing. Nick smirked as he held out his hand, "may I have this dance?" I rolled my eyes and laughed. "You may.", I said, taking his hand. He led me out to the dance floor. When we got out there he put his hands on my waist and I put my arms around his neck. We stared directly in each other's eyes as we danced. It was like the world had stopped just for a few minutes. It was absolutely perfect. I sighed, "Nick, are you... uh... are you happy you met me?" He smiled, "isn't it obvious?" I hesitated to speak. "It's just... if you would have never met me you or your friends wouldn't be in danger.", I said as he rolled his eyes. "I love you.", he said as he pulled me close to him. "I love you too, more than anything." We stood there for what felt like hours. Before I knew it the night was over. I walked over to the group, "hey... I just wanted to thank you all. You guys mean the world to me and I'm so grateful that you all were so kind to me." "Is everything ok?...", Adam asked as I smiled. "Everything is fine.", I said walking back over to Nick. "You ready to leave?", I asked as he nodded. When we got outside it was cold, so Nick gave me his leather jacket. "Thank you...", I said as we got in his car. He just simply hummed in response. The car ride was quiet until we finally arrived at my house. "Nick, I just want you to know.... I love you so much and I always will.", I said as I stared at him. He smiled, "I love you too." We got out and he walked me to the door. I kissed him one last time. I sighed, "goodbye, Nick." He smirked, " bye, Violet.", and with that he left. I headed inside the house. Ninko was asleep, so I didn't bother to wake her up. I rushed up into my room and grabbed the salt and a drop of blood from Nick, Jake, Cassie, Ninko, Faye, Melissa, Adam, Diana, their parents, and their grandparents. Then, I rushed to the ship and poured the salt into the form of a clock. It had two hands and then the amount of marks for each person I was mind wiping. I poured the drop of blood on each mark. The I stood I'm the middle and began to chant. The hands started moving and each mark it hit, it would turn red. When it turned red that means that person's memory has been wiped. After about ten minutes the whole clock was blood red. "Is it finished?", a very familiar voice said. I sighed, "yes, it's finished." "Alright then... let's go."
