•Magic was never a part of my life. Izel had a penchant for using violence. Only for the sake of pleasure and ecstasy. She'd summon butterflies for Rebekah, animals to approach them for Henrik, colours for Klaus, a gleaming sword for Elijah, herbs for her mother, and his favourite flower for her father.

The only time she ever used it for violence was when Mikael was attacking Niklaus. He slammed into him hard and was hurt all over.

But she was sure she should do it right now. Save herself from the man who is following her with an axe, intent on chopping off her head.

What happened to them? The questions she kept asking herself, What occurred while I was gone? What could have gone wrong?

She slipped over her own foot as she ran, causing her to tumble hard to the ground. She realised he was approaching her and leapt to her feet without looking back.

He caught her ankle before she could fully rise. When he yanked her back, a strange red glow appeared from his hands down to her ankles.

She was in excruciating discomfort. She felt she was about to pass out, but her eyes remained open as sweat dripped from her brow.

After what seemed like an eternity of torment, he suddenly released her and exhaled deeply, as if he was enjoying something.

Izel then took another risk and bolted, but this time she blasted him far away beforehand.

She assumed she had more time, but he stood up right away, which perplexed her.

Her and her family's magic was more powerful than any other witches', therefore she was certain he was harmed. They didn't even have to mutter a spell because of this. Her father even told her his sister's magic radiated darkness wile her's, light.

Even as she fled faster and deeper into the woods, he never stopped after her. She turned behind her to check if he was still following her, and exhaled a sigh of relief when she discovered he wasn't.

     There was no sound.

     There were no visible motions.

     She was on her own.

However, this is not the case.

The man, Jaee, lunged at her from behind. She had no idea he was there. She was really taken aback. She had no idea what she was going to do next.

How did he pull it off? Simply approach her from behind, making no noise at all.

Then she felt it. A warm liquid substance began to drip down from her throat.

"The oldest child. Wasn't it Finn?" As he brought the knife to her throat and carefully lowered it down, he whispered in her ear.

Izel had no choice but to suffer in silence. She couldn't move because she was terrified. Afraid he'd do something more horrible. Nothing like this has ever happened to her before.

He went on to say, "He's just returned. Now that I have my own magic back, I can sense him." He closed his eyes as if he was experiencing something rare, "I'm no longer just the abomination. Let me warn you, there will be a lot of them from now on."

He chuckled quietly to himself, "You did not even see the body of your parents. I was taken aback. It's actually rather amusing. The last to die is the girl who adores her parents and friends and she did not even get a chance to say her goodbyes," he taunted her and laughed maniacally out loud as he repeatedly pierced her stomach. His chuckles could be heard echoing throughout the woodland.

She had just realised it was already dark. She saw his mutterings to himself as an opportunity to save herself one final time. She didn't have much energy, but she vowed herself she'd do whatever it took to get rid of this man.

She clenched her fists and tightened her jaw. Then she found herself floating. She didn't realise it, but she was enveloped by a white aura as she channelled all of her emotions. A white aura erupted from her chest, striking the man square in the chest.

Everything appeared to be moving at a breakneck pace for her. She had no idea what was going on around her.

Her sweat dripped like blood. She was in excruciating pain, yet she persevered. Thunderstorms and lightning struck, but it did not begin to rain. No, the rain was waiting for something different. Something more substantial.

     "IZEL!"
