•Finn and Izel were together for one of the few times in their lives. As they talked more, it seemed as if fate was on their side, and their concerns faded away.

Elijah and Klaus were with Tatia, while Rebekah and Henrik were around Esther and Kol was out somewhere, presumably with some ladies.

Finn gazed longingly at Izel, as if she had, like an angel, fashioned his moon and stars.

Izel, too, gazed at him with such admiration in her eyes that you'd swear it was their final day together.

He was her forever just like she was his.

Izel finally averted her gaze, her cheeks flushed as she struggled to hide her big grin. "When are we going to tell others?" she asked, clearing her voice.

"I'm not sure," he said, his gaze remaining fixed on her, "But I'd want to keep you to myself for the time being, if that's okay with you."

She cocked her head to the side. Finn was concerned as if he'd said something incorrectly, but he couldn't be sure with her. Izel smiled and nodded, indicating that she was aware of all points of view.

She sat close to him and began writing symbols on his palm. As they enjoyed one other's company, butterflies swirled around them by Izel's magic.

Finn suddenly flopped down on the grass, dragging Izel behind him, who yelped in surprise. He placed his head next to hers and their fingers entwined. She smiled and stared at him with such lovely blue eyes that he couldn't take his gaze away from her.

After a lengthy comfortable stillness, Finn finally murmured, "I fear I cannot live without you, my love."

Izel locked her gaze on him, balancing herself on her elbows. She informed him, "You can, my darling," but added, "You just don't want to." She gave him a sweet grin and said, "You know, I, too, shall love you till the end of time."

She couldn't help but be upset by his reaction. It wasn't fair, knowing that they wouldn't be together forever.

     [A few weeks ago]

Sweats covered Izel's forehead and neck when she awoke. She was exhaling rapidly, as if it were the last breath she would ever take.

Her mother and father arrived promptly to assist her.

She looked around nervously, seeking to locate the sounds that had been haunting her nightmares.

The voices had been troubling her since she discussed some spells with Esther and Anya, another witch, that could make a person immortal and invincible. She assumed they were just her thoughts at first, but then they started talking about ruin, what would happen, people who were hiding things, and other things.

Her mother took her daughter's cheeks in her hands and studied her. Her eyes were puffy, and blood was dripping down her nose. "What is it, my dear?" says the narrator. She questioned, concerned.

Izel's breathing became more regular, and she was able to catch her breath. "I— In my dream— no, nightmare— I can't— bre—"

"What is it?!" Her father asked.

"Something terrible is going to happen. Something really horrible will happened, I don't know," she whispered to herself, her voice trembling as she glanced up at her father and mother, who clearly heard what she just said.

Her father went back to his bed after they talked for a bit, but Ginerva stayed with her daughter. She calmed her down by saying again and over, "I won't lose you, my child," until Izel fell asleep.

Finn flashed a grin. He promised her, "Even after death, I shall still love you," which made her smile even broader than before.

Izel tried to make the most of her time with him. She was aware that something horrible was about to happen and that she would be powerless to stop it, at least that's what the voices told her. She was just going to let it go and go about her business.

Because she was well aware that nothing lasts forever. Everything was going to fade away in the end eventually.

"It's never going to end happily," the voices taunt her.
