•The earth was shaken by the death of an angel. Nothing was ever the same after that. When Mystic Falls collapsed, everyone was dead or disappeared. The people who did survive never had a narrative to tell; it was as if the town didn't exist, and their previous lives were nothing more than a figment of their imagination.
The son of Izel's sister was born with magic coursing through his veins. It was only after Izel's death that they discovered it. This was also the beginning of something new for the family, as the first warlock was born. He made everyone think of Izel. His grin, his manners, his friendliness, and his pure magic, which was similar to Izel's. Finn paid him frequent visits after his family allowed him to go off on his own a few times.
He reminisces about their shared memories. He missed their conversations, walks, her laughter, her voice, her insightful comments, everything about her. Those few moments when they were at their happiest will always be his one memory that will help him get through the most vulnerable situations.
He can still sense her presence beside him after all these years, as if she were guiding him. Then he was led to Sage, a fiery red-haired girl.
She assisted him in attempting to make it through, but he had never been able to accomplish so in the millions of days he had spent. She developed feelings for him, but he never returned them, which she accepted. She realised he wasn't meant to be hers, so she tried to understand him and frequently asked questions about Izel, as if everything about Izel fascinated her as well. Eventually, he turned her into a vampire, which he deeply regretted.
Years passed, and his own siblings stabbed him in the heart with a dagger. They couldn't possibly do that! After all, he's been of assistance to them! He never started wars or spread rumours, and he remained to himself. For years and years and years, he was imprisoned in a coffin.
Until the family that stabbed him in the back and tortured him for years released him free. He was promised a free life from that point on, and that he could go wherever he wanted without them following him.
Their preparations, however, were thwarted when their mother, whom Klaus had murdered, awoke from the grave. She hosted a ball because she stated she wanted to be a family again.
Creating a final moment for the lovers who lost their love far too soon.

Esther informed her son, "Finn, I have to finish what I started." She smiled at him while she was adjusting his outfit. "My son, I adore you. I do not wish for your death, but I have no choice," she informed him. She continued with a sweet smile when he simply nodded, "And I've got something for you. If I may say so, this is your ultimate gift."
Then he witnessed something that rocked him to his core. Izel, the lady he adored, the woman he feared he'd never see again, walked down the stairs in a soft pink gown that made her look delightfully uncomfortable.
Esther walked away, and the two exchanged stares for a few moments before Finn dashed over to her and kissed her on the lips.
Izel's tears streamed down like a river, and she smiled as she received the kiss. She exhaled heavily and quickly backed away. She locked her gaze on him and held his face. She chuckled and kissed him all over, leaving crimson lipstick trails on his cheeks, forehead, and nose.
Her first words were, "You cut your hair," which made Finn laugh out loud.
He took her hands in his and touched their noses. He exhaled slowly as he kissed her again, "You look heavenly as always." He didn't want it to come to an end.
Then they both walked out of the room to join the other guests at the ball. She was reunited with the family, who were overjoyed to see her again. But they had no idea it wouldn't last as long as they had hoped.
Izel joined them on the stairwell, holding Finn's arm as he grabbed her waist. Elijah's wife was also in attendance, and she had the pleasure of meeting her. She also met members of her family. Barbara Goldstein and Jude Fawn
Finn and she danced the night away, catching up on everything she'd missed. They discussed how the world had changed and how she would miss him when she leaves again.
Kol was momentarily murdered by another vampire later that night, which dampened everyone's spirits. After that, Finn took Izel to a garden with a large pond hidden behind some shrubs. He stayed with her until she was ready to depart. The moonlight glistened, the air was sweet, but their hearts were broken.
Their second farewell.
Finn grabbed Izel's hands as a white radiance engulfed her once more. She felt herself floating not long after that, yet she continued to hold his hands.
Both of their eyes welled up with tears. Neither of them had previously experienced the emotions they were experiencing. They were relieved that they had one more chance to be together, but they were also outraged with the universe. Unfortunately, there was nothing they could do at this point.
As she was being carried away from him, she told him, "I will love you till the end of times."
"Even after death I shall still love you," he said, his eyes filled with zeal.
"We'll meet again soon," she whispered, before adding, whimpering, "I love you."
She then vanished. The moon and gods have taken her. The only indication of her presence previously was a white glow that surrounded Finn, as if she didn't want to leave him.
He was heartbroken, again, just like he had been before.
