•Izel was shocked to find Finn already at the lake when she arrived. Usually she was the first one there due to the fact that her parents sleep earlier than Finn's.
She decided to wait a few moments to watch him take in the fresh air since he hadn't spotted her yet. He closed his eyes and inhaled deeply. He stood with his arms crossed over his chest, staring at the nearly full moon. With the moonlight beaming on his face, he appeared to be at ease and majestic.
"I know you're out there," he grinned and said, his eyes closed and not moving.
"Ahhh, and here I was thinking I'd fulfilled quite well," Izel groaned.
Finn was taken aback as she approached him and gripped him from behind. Despite this, he placed his hands on her arm and turned around to face her.
"What might be getting you so ecstatic?" With a grin, he questioned, amused by her abrupt demeanour.
She just shrugged and replied, "There's nothing. It was just a conversation with my father. He has a gift with words and is aware."
Finn smiled and nodded. "Yes, he is a wise man. But I'd say your mother is the wiser of the two," he told her, which caused Izel to lift her brows in confusion. "Well your mother is very level headed. Your father appears to become more animated and speaks from his heart," he went on to explain.
"Is it pointless to follow your heart?" Izel blinked. She believed that speaking from the heart was preferable. That was one of the reasons she took so long to find a husband. She, like her mother, didn't want to marry unless it was for love.
Finn replied with a shake of his head, "No. It's fantastic. I was simply—"
She laughed, "I understand. I was only playing," she clarified with a smile settled on her face.
She smiled and snuggled closer to him after a time. Her head was now resting on his pounding heart. She saw how serene he was as she glanced up at him. With his family, it wasn't like that.
He was the eldest, the strongest, the one responsible for his siblings, the one they were meant to look up to, the one Mikael kept tough so he wouldn't display any emotions in front of them.
He put on a tough exterior for his family, but he was weak around her. She made him feel helpless, which was precisely what he required.
He put his hand on her cheek and stroked it, causing her to gaze up at him once more. Slowly but steadily, she rose to her toes and leaned in, and he reciprocated. Her hands were on his face, and his were now wrapped around her waist. Finally, their lips came together.
Butterflies in her stomach danced faster than they had ever danced before, itching to get inside the kiss.
She was on top of the world. The man she's been in love with for quite a while now was in her arms, with their lips interlocked.
He felt as though he were on top of the world. It was eerily similar to his dreams, if not sweeter. His stomach and heart were on flame. He didn't want it to come to an end. But after a while, she drew back and rested her forehead on his.
It was finally time for the long-awaited kiss. The longer the wait, the sweeter the kiss. The kiss that marked the start of a fantastic tale.
She let out a breathless giggle and opened her eyes to find him tenderly staring at her.
He studied every detail of her face. Her luscious lips, gorgeous blue eyes, and a mole on her lower right cheek She was the epitome of perfection to him.
"Why are you staring?" She smiled as she whispered.
With a smile on his face, he replied, "I mean, how could I not? You are the most stunning woman I've ever seen."
She kissed him lightly again, but this time it was short, causing him to scowl. She laughed at his reply, causing his frown to fade into a smile.
Not long after, she frowned as well. "What is it?" He said when he noticed this.
She let out a huge sigh, "It's just that we'll have to say our goodbyes tonight. I just wish to linger with you every moment."
"I agree," he said, "It is rather unfair is it not?" Making her nodded. "Perhaps we could tell our parents that we make each other happy forever," he suggested.
Izel was taken aback and gazed at him with astonishment. "Really? Isn't it, however, immediate?" She queried.
"Do you not want to have it?" He questioned, a little nervously. He was frightened he'd said something stupid and scared her.
She smiled as though to soothe him, "I do. You are the one I'm after. Perhaps we shall be able to inform them shortly." He accepted her proposal.
"Yes, but now, we have to return to our homes. Is it already late," he said, his smile attempting to be hidden by her words.
Before they left, he told her, "I will love you till the end of times."
"Really?"
"Yes."
"Even after death, I shall still love you," she replied.
They parted ways, but not before she pecked his lips, causing him to grin all the way home.

So this will probably be the last chapter I'm going to post for a while. It's cause of the exams yk.
Also they finally kissed!! Ahh!! It won't be long before it ends. Maybe about 7 more chapters then we'll be done. Hopefully 🤞
As always, vote if you liked it and comment your thoughts on the story and suggests somethings if you'd like.
Also the gif, that's not saliva btw, it's her hair. The filter made it weird.
