Chapter 16: Fight at the Mansion

Your POV

It has been a whole day since I left the town house and night has fallen. By now Sebastian and Ciel have left the town house and headed toward the Phantomhive mansion. I've been on horseback ever all the time with a break for the horse once in every hour. But now I was getting close to the manor until I see a sudden flash of red which I recognize right away. So I made the horse stop and look to see which direction the red cloaked figure was headed.

"Wait for the second Colter (the horse's name) I want you to run northwest for the moment." I told it and since I've been giving Colter a special type of feed that would give it a longer stamina, so Colter starts to run at that direction as fast as it can.

As Colter run I breath in and shout at the only person I know who loves the color red so much that he'll wear it every single day.

"GRELL WAIT UP!!!!!!!"

The figure in red stopped in his tracks and so I made Colter slow down and stop where the figure was. Just as I suspected the figure had long red hair, dressed in a red coat that was too small for him, red glasses, and has the green eyes which every grim reaper has. (picture of him above)

"____________? What are you doing here?" Grell said swinging his chain saw death scythe in the air.

"That's what I was about to ask you." I reply sharp back to his face making him jump in surprise almost dropping his death scythe on top of his foot.

"Well William dear is just ordering for me to collect souls at the place called the Phantomhive mansion, but between you and me I'm going there meet with my Sebastian darling."

"Sebastian.. Do you mean Sebastian Michaelis? If you're looking for him he is away right now." I said making Grell's face fall with disappointment until his face was filled with suspicion.

"How do you know about Sebastian darling anyway?"

"I work as the Phantomhive maid now so I work with him."

As soon as I said those words Grell was in shock for a couple of seconds before he remembered why he came here in the first place when a huge crack was heard that echo across that probably the whole city of London could hear it.

"Oh shoot I forgot the souls I've to collect! Well catch you later _________!" Grell said and quickly he runs toward the source of sound leaving me in the dust.

I was shock for a while before I shout to Colter to run as fast as he can to the manner. When we had arrived I go off of Colter pull up my hood and ran inside of the mansion. After I stealthy went inside of the mansion I arrived just in time to see Dagger and Beast attacking Bardroy. Without thinking I went in front of Baldroy transform my locket into a sword, blocked all of Dagger's dagger, went in front of Beast, knocked the whip out of her hands, and jumped away before anyone could react to anything that just happened.

"Who are you are you with these intruders?" Bardroy shouts as I landed on a ledge.

"Actually it's the opposite I'm actually was sent here by Sebastian." I said sensing Finny walking toward Bardroy carrying something really heavy.

"You've been sent by Sebastian that's a shocker. Wait if you've been sent by Sebastian then aren't you that new maid that came here a couple of days ago?" Bardroy said with surprise making him and Finny look at me.

"Yep and by the way hello Dagger, Beast it's nice to see you two again. Even though I have orders to kill you to protect the Phantomhive secrets." I said pulling off my hood revealing my face.

"Aren't you Shadow? Why are you here?!" Beast shouts at me with a shocked expression on her face.

Guilt pass through me like a knife stabbing me in my back, but I shake the feeling off since I have a case to complete. So I made my face emotionless I calmly spoke with venom to let them know I'm there enemy.

"If you must know my real name is _________ _____________ a Phantomhive maid, but I was ask to find those missing children as a favor. Also my master is the Queen's guard dog after all and you have trespassed on my master's territory. So get ready to meet with your maker Beast, Dagger. Oh, by the way everyone else is dead."

"WHAT! HOW DARE YOU!!!" Dagger shouts with disbelief and threw about twenty daggers at me and I used my powers to control the metal to stop them in midair.

"How can you do that?" Finny shouts as he looks at me in awe.

"I'm not telling!" I teased to the young boy as I let go of the daggers and walk toward the two boys at the top of the stairs.

"Well Finny want to give them the taste of your cannons." Bardroy said lighting up a cigarette.

Then Finny lifts up a bunch of marble statures and throws it at the two circus performers. Both Beast and Dagger flees the scene and I look at them with pity knowing that in a few minutes they will both die. Dagger by a machine gun and Beast by an explosion that the other three servants have prepare. Knowing their fate I told Bardroy that I'll start with the repairs and went away not caring on what he would said next.

I left toward the opposite of the mansion where I felt an unfamiliar presence and found myself in front of a guest bedroom.

I guess it was just a guest but why have a guest right now when Ciel is away?

I was in deep thoughts that I didn't notice Tanaka the former head butler approaching behind me.

"Ah you must be the new maid that Mister Sebastian and the young master found a couple days ago if I'm not mistaken."

"Oh, you surprised me Tanaka. Yes my name is ___________ ______________ it's a pleasure to meet you. And may I ask who is sleeping behind these doors?" I said pointing to the guest room door.

"Ah that room is currently occupied by the young master's fiancé Lady Elizabeth Midford."

"Oh.... So I'm guessing that since you are here the other servant are finished with exterminating the rats?"

"Yes Miss ____________ they just had finished doing so just a couple of minutes ago." Tanaka said as he face toward me.

"Good now I'm going to start repairing the mansion tomorrow morning. We don't want Sebastian screaming at us right Mister Tanaka?" I ask with amusement.

"Your right but you can call me old man Tanaka. Everyone calls me that."

"Then thank you old man Tanaka and good night." I said bowing toward the old man and turn around and started to walk to my room to retire for the day.

I wonder if Sebastian is thinking of me right now. Oh well all I can do right now is try to fix parts of the mansion, but there is one more thing to do.

As I turn around the corner I quickly walk outside and face toward the ruined mansion. I took a deep breath and hope that what I ever do works. So I set to work by letting my eyes glow in a soft white light. I extended my powers to the corpses of the dead that was in the area and placed a mark of rebirth. As I set the mark of Saturn on the corpses each of them glow in a faint purple glow which meant that the operation performed was successful. I sigh a breath and started to go back to the mansion, to my room to finally get some rest. But then I gave a quick message to the souls that are being rebirth right now.

Everyone I hope you guys have a very happy life I your new life. This is your final gift from me so good- bye everyone.

And with that thought gone I sank into my pillows and fell into a peaceful slumber until dawn approached the very next day.
