Micheal was walking to school one day when he discovered a photograph on the ground.
Curious, he picked it up to discover the most gorgeous girl he had ever seen. She had ruby lips, perfectly smooth black hair, and the prettiest green eyes, as flawless as an emerald. She formed a peace sign with her left hand, her mouth curled into a beautiful smile.
He instantly wished he knew who this mysterious girl was. He loved her fair skin and her lovely face that seemed to beam at him, delightfully. Micheal needed to know who this charming girl was.
So when he walked into the school building, he showed the picture of the girl to a group of friends. "Excuse me, do you know this girl?" he asked. They all answered "No."
He showed the photo to more students, but they all said that they had never seen her before.
It appeared that nearly the entire school had no idea who the gorgeous girl was.
Disappointed, but not willing to give up, he started back home when the school day ended.
As soon as he came home, he asked his sister if she knew the girl, she said "No."
Sighing, he went to bed.
During the night, he heard tapping on his bedroom window. It made Micheal very nervous. But he assumed that it was simply a tree branch tapping against his window.
So he closed his eyes and tried to fall asleep, the picture of the girl clutched in his hands. He wanted to meet her, to talk to her, to even glance at her would be fine with him. Then he began to dream.
When he went back to school the next morning, he decided to ask others if they had ever seen the girl before. All of his classmates and teachers replied "No."
He felt like he would never see the girl, but his curiosity and interest forced him to press on. He was too intrigued in finding this girl to back down.
When he arrived at home, he was desperate enough to ask his mother, "Have you ever seen this girl before?"
His mother, apologetic, responded, "No."
Micheal didn't want to admit to himself that he would never see the pretty girl in the photo. No, he was hoping beyond hope that she would turn up one day.
That night, he heard the wind howling and the pound of thunder and the crackle of lightening. There was a huge storm.
Micheal listened to the sounds, feeling uneasy. The he heard a tapping noise. It was loud, almost loud enough to drown out the storm.
Determined, he left his house to search for the source of the sound, holding the photo of the girl firmly in his grip.
In only a matter of seconds, he realized too late that he was in the middle of a road, and was quickly hit by the front of a car, killing him on impact.
The driver of the car, exited, staring at Micheal's dead body with widened eyes, gasping in shock.
There, in Micheal's hand was a photo of a beautiful young girl with green eyes like emeralds and skin lovelier than a pearl's, holding up three fingers from her left hand.
