In a cold and gloomy night, a village deep in the forest stood quiet. Moonlight shone over their rooftops and pierced through their dusty windows. Who respects nature and its spirits in belief that those spirits can curse upon you. Without common knowledge about curses, the village people thought it was one of the deities of the forest.

"Gabbi." The moon curse. Myths say that Gabbi was once a powerful deity, he had the power and control of the night and moon. When disaster fell upon his golden heart, the moon deity was turned into a curse. Gods punished him for killing people in the night, breaking into their homes and forcing them to look into his oblivion eyes. Therefore a saying was formed, "Never look into those piercing eyes for it can make your world bleed."

Gabbi was then killed by the gods, thinking his reign of terror is over. His sword was the only thing that kept him alive for centuries. After the gods knew, they put him in the responsibility of one successful and powerful bloodline.

The Bonifacio bloodline.

Andres Bonifacio was known to be the carrier of the legacy. A different legacy. For he was known to be the leader of the Katipunan, a revolutionary group of Filipinos who wanted freedom and peace for their country. Though the Bonifacio bloodline was known to be heroes, a part in them, continued to protect the lives of not only Filipinos but also the lives of humanity.

The misfits, different, freaks, and so called devils of the bloodline ran away with Gabbi's sword away from them. They hid in the rural areas of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. They even removed their connection with the other Bonifacios knowing that it'll be for the better.

As the decades passed by. The sword was given to the responsible handler. Years by years, Gabbi was transferred in them until Manuel Bonifacio came into the picture.

Manuel Bonifacio, the father of Y/N Bonifacio, the 60th handler of the sword. As the cursed object was handled by him, Manuel grew weaker, unable to fulfill his role as a father when he majorly focused on protecting Gabbi's sword.

When 4 year old Y/N touched her father's hand while he was carrying the sword, everything changed. They didn't knew that it was possible. Gabbi was transferred to Y/N by accident. Manuel tried everything to get Gabbi back because Y/N got weaker day by day. She needed weekly check-up from a babaylan, to ensure that Gabbi didn't kill and used her. Luckily, Y/N managed to keep Gabbi inside of her. A child was able to trap a centuries old curse.

Even Gabbi was shocked that a young girl could trap him and make him unable to posses her. Though a miracle was given to their family, discrimination and fear were still present in the air. Their own people feared Y/N, scared by her and the curse. Y/N didn't give them attention but the discrimination became more cruel.

After Y/N knew that the people were going to burn their home, wherein her family were sleeping, she got angry, beyond that she almost used Gabbi as the source for her attacks. Gabbi inside of her, was thrilled to see her like that, both happy and proud for her. Even though the people's intention was to harm them and almost killed them, her mother saved them by calming Y/N down.

Days passed by and they moved, from a rural area to a city. Where they started a new life, a life where Y/N changed drastically.
