*You pick up the mug with the hot tea and cup your hands around it, to heat them up a bit*

*It's freezing in here*

George: You know, even though I grew up in England, I never went to Scotland before

Y/n: You did not? How is that even possible?

George: I don't know. It was never really appealing to me

Y/n: And yet you sit in a chair next to me, in a little cabin in Scotland

*He smiles and turns his head towards you*

George: Well, this time there was something that drew me to Scotland...

*You feel your cheeks heating up*

Y/n: Ah, don't George

George: No, it's the truth

*You make a movement with your hand to wipe his words away, while you look into your cup of tea*

*He starts laughing and you look up to him*

Y/n: What? What's so funny?

George: You really don't know how to deal with compliments, do you?

*You remain silent. No, you don't. It's not like you got that many compliments during your life...*

George: Hey, don't worry. I'll fix that flaw

Y/n: Oh, so not being able to take in compliments is a flaw now, huh?

George: Yes it is. Especially someone like you. You should be used to hearing thousands of compliments a day

Y/n: No, that was never really the case

George: Why not? What is a possible reason for you to not receive compliments? Because I can't think of any

Y/n: It's just...

*And you cut off your sentence, while you look at the view in front of you. Hoping it would give you some answers*

George: Yes...?

Y/n: I was never good enough. There was always something that could be improved

George: But was it you who told you that or someone else?

*Your eyes search for his*

Y/n: Is there any difference?

George: It's a huge difference. Were you self sabotaging or did someone else tear you down?

*You start thinking. Was it you? Or was it someone else? You don't know*

*Maybe it was a little bit of both*

Y/n whispers: I don't know...

*George puts a hand on your arm*

George: You are good enough Y/n. You're even more than that. So whether you were telling yourself you weren't good enough or someone else was, you need to stop believing these words. Because you're more than enough. You're perfect

*His words touch a nerve. You only heard Max telling you this*

*And when your sibling is telling you something like that, you never really believe it, unless someone else says it*

*You move your left hand and put it on top of his on your right arm. You give it a little squeeze, while you carefully put a little smile on your face*

Y/n: Thank you George...

*He smiles back at you*

George: Okay, I can sense this topic makes you a bit uncomfortable. Let's switch the topic. We're here for some rest after all

*He takes a sip of his tea*

George: So, Scotland huh? How did you end up here?

*You let his hand go and move sideways on the chair, so you have a full sight at him when you start telling about your love for this country*
